Cashmere Veterinary Clinic
Was our first visit. Transferred from another Veterinary Clinic. Free parking onsite. Makes it safer to walk doggo in. The staff greeted us with a big hello and smiles. Helpful and informative. Good amount of seating. There seemed to be alot of products available to purchase in store. I saw the vet with my doggo. Thorough palpation of my dogs limbs. I did feel a little less empathy and emotion than I would usually like. Not alot of conversation with me. I was prescribed a medication for my dog but the prescription was not available until the next day. I have never had to wait for a prescription from any medical profession. I belong to the best for pet scheme. There are advantages and benefits for this scheme. It is a good scheme for owners of pets on a budget. Only a few Veterinary Clinics are available under this scheme. I have spoken to family and friends who also visit this practice. Seems like a busy place. See you next time.

Great team here. Everyone from the team at the front to the team working out back are very friendly and kind. They look after our pupper and kitty very well. Have been able to get same-day appointments for emergencies a couple of times too. Recommend.

When we first started seeing this vet for checkups they seemed great, but when my cat needed treatment for a life threatening condition they really showed their true colours.After the initial consult where they confirmed this condition, I was told over the phone (due to traffic light rules) that I needed to pay $500 immediately for them to do anything. Of course I paid this because my cat’s life was at risk, but when I mentioned this later I was told no such rule existed. I was upset as I felt they’d taken advantage of me in a vunerable situation, but no one wanted to take responsibility or even apologise. Anyone I spoke to just said “well it wasn’t me”.The care didn’t really get any better from there, they would evade my questions repeatedly or outright ignore them. This made it really hard to make decisions about my cat’s care and what was best for him. Despite changing the subject whenever I used the phrase “quality of life” they were really keen for me to pay thousands for a surgery they wouldn’t even discuss potential outcomes of.Sadly my cat did not survive this condition, and we had to make the hardest decision to put him to sleep so he wasn’t suffering any more. Despite me and my support person both having contract with the vets within that past 24 hours, they still tried to tell me we couldn’t both say goodbye due to covid rules. Much like the upfront payment, this rule did not stand up to questioning and I honestly wonder what they were thinking.You’d probably think the awful experience ends there, and I did too for about a year. Then out of the blue I get a text message. “We see you have a loaner carrier that is yet to be returned.” If they bothered to check thier records properly, they would see we of course did not have the carrier as I didn’t get to take my cat home again. They’ve never apologised for that either.

Receptionist was ignorant when asked for after work h appointment. Although website says clinic is open till 7 pm, she refused to book any appointments after 4 pm, saying that vets do not work that late. When asked for clarification, we were told to go somewhere else if want appointment after 4 pm. so, we did.

This initially started as my parents' vet for the family dog, and when me and my sister and I got cats, we also decided to go here. Unfortunately, we had to put our dog down due to him being sick. They were extremely caring the whole time and never rushed us. They took a keepsake of his paw print and sent it to us, which was a really nice heartwarming surprise. They made the difficult situation as easy as it could be. You really feel like they truly care about your animal here

Fantastic. We are dog in 15 min after being hit by a car an they were amazing .She will be fine going back tomorrow for x-rays. Thank you to all the staff
