We go to this Subway when ever we visit Whangarei and have always been satisfied. The guy that served this time us gave about 1/2 the usual amount of tuna and a TINY wipe of avocado on the bun. The other ingredients on the 3 items we bought were also totally less than we have ever had before. If he is serving next time we will walk out! (noon June 28th).

Possibly the worst food experience I’ve ever had. I had placed an online order for click and collect for two subs. I pick them up and take them home, neither of the subs had the requested sauces on them, which we could live with but whilst I was in the middle of eating mine there was a black thing at the bottom of the sub, which once removed was a dead fly that had been baked into the sub. We call the store to complain and they offer to remake the sub. I advise them what was on the sub, she confirmed the sauces but relayed back the incorrect ones so I corrected her again. We got to the store and the staff member joked how this one won’t have any flies in it. I asked to confirm the sauce and she read out the wrong ones and told me I had told her those sauces and that she had them right and then I changed them, however not once did I mention honey mustard once. We opted to taking it as it was 10minutes until closing as not much else was open at this point, we are also in the middle of moving so we had no food in the new house currently so it was either eat the new sub with a wrong sauce or nothing at all. Get home and it looks like they threw the ingredient in the sub from across the room. They probably thought it was funny to put extra sauce in because I confirmed it twice but less funny when you get the sauce wrong and to make things even better instead of putting in the requested carrot they had put cucumber in instead, I can’t stand cucumber so I had to remove it but there was still traces of the taste. I doubt I’ll be going to any subway again.

Wasn't busy and took 30 minutes to make my sub. Lots of Flys. Two young people were making heaps of mistakes. Not going back

Fantastic staff that always seem to be let down by higher management. I used to go weekly but with surging prices and there usually being multiple ingredients out it becomes an unjustifiable spend. The prices have got to a point where you could literally go to a cafe or restaurant for the same price. Again super lovely staff who try to make the most of their situation but lack of ingredients, hugely increased costs is just quite a sting. Hopefully something changes, for all involved

went in tonight (16/11 7:30pm) and it was PACKED. Thank you to the young girl who served all of the customers, but the other older female co worker is USELESS! She just went around wiping things instead of putting it down and helping her co worker with all of the orders. Come on lady?! Help your younger co worker out, I’m sure she was very stressed with having to serve so many customers. Thank you to the young girl, I hope the managers will deal with the other lady who was no help at all!

Visited Saturday at 1pm ( Lunchtime) there were 2 fantastic staff working hard. The phone was ringing and ingredients needed replenishing. The poor staff members were obviously under pressure and whilst polite and efficient couldn’t keep up. This was my first and last visit to this store, as 30 minutes for a subway is just too long.

Subway has changed their app, and since changing I can no longer use my subcard, and I have lost the balance that was on the card. Nothing wrong with the store, just the removal of my account that has affected the rating.
