We had our system installed in early November by Christchurch Solar and are very happy with the whole process from design and quote through to installation. Tom and his team did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in solar for their home or business.

(NB: I almost never give a 5 star review.)Summary: Would thoroughly recommend CHCH Solar.Tom and Molly and the team from CHCH Solar were very friendly, straightforward, helpful and honest in our dealings with them. The initial meetings were clear and detailed, all queries answered and they were very flexible with alterations to the quotes based on any spec changes we made leading up to our final decision. The installation process was smooth efficient, problem free, and completed without fuss.There has been no problem with any of the installed equipment that CHCH Solar was responsible for.There have been 3 short term outages of WIFI production DATA collected + sent by Fronius as they were making changes to their software. This is now sorted and never affected energy generated by the panels.Combined with using Octopus Energy company who pay an excellent rate (17c/kWh) for our excess production (+ cheap night rate 15c/kWh) , the system is ideal for our needs- 2 adults , both working away from home. Our power savings to date have been averaging approximately $100/month, may drop a little over winter-will depend, of course on the sun!We are moderately tech savvy, and drive an EV.Advice: do through research, it can all seem complex.Our System:Panels:10 x REC 405w Alpha Pure Black panels.Fronius Primo Gen 24 5kW InverterHot Water TimerA battery at the time was not cost effective, for our smallish system.-LET THE SUN SHINE ON-

We are very pleased with Christchurch Solar who use high quality panels and Feronius inverter. They also installed a Tesla battery and OHM pilot interface with the hot water which work really well together amd make the most of output from the panels. The team is highly skilled and did a very professional installation. They took a lot of care and extra time to hide wiring and deal in an aesthetically pleasing way with the many complications on our installation.They were all a pleasure to have onsite and we recommend them highly.

I had my Solar and Tesla Powerwall installed by Tom and Molly from Christchurch Solar.A very professional job, small (covid-19) delays that were well communicated. Impressed with the attention to detail and the end product delivered.
