Awesome selection for fruit and veg at reasonable prices

Nothing wrong with the fruit and veg but as I was lining up for an ice cream I got put off in a big way. The young lady serving had a cone in one hand and grabbed a tissue with her other hand and blew her nose. Tissue went in the rubbish and without washing her hands continued to serve the ice cream. No gloves, nothing. Put me right off.

Nice cheap produce.Always get value for money here.Just suggestion that a staff member could remove the damaged produce more often.They do leak onto the good stuff and are a bit off putting

Terrible customer service ! This was the first veggie shop I tried when arriving to Chch eight years ago and I understood that they were popular because they had good deals, and a large variety of products, the monopoly with no much concurrence.Regardless the team was pretty friendly, some smiles, salutations and a chat at the till going on. Today when I look around I felt a different atmosphere, all the staff was different, when I asked the young lady at the till with a sweatshirt from St Andrew College (Bella) if the staff/owner changed she made me repeat many times pretending to dont understand what I was asking ; she was cold as a icing beer.Coming back to my car and checking the receipt I noticed that she overcharged me a product, so I went back, and woo, not only she did not apologise, she acted like a brat. I didn't know a person that is at work could be so sassy, her young colleague that came after was no better.It's was the last time I come to this shop. This people seem only care to make profit and train their young ones. Your seniority should never blow off your integrity.

Great prices compared to other vendors around. Always busy, so everything is fresh. They work vary quickly so standing in line isn't so bad.
