McDonald's Akoranga Drive
Absolutely disappointed with this McDonald's 6 months prior I visited regularly with no issues, I would of rated this McDonald's in particular the best in Auckland for speed and quality. Unfortunately my last 2 visits have been below acceptible, I understand there can be staffing issues etc but a 15 minute wait just at the order box alone then another 15 minute in the waiting bay is just trash.

McDonald's Akoranga Drive
I literally love this McDonald's so much. They're always super busy but the staff always accommodate to my weird requests and give reasonably good customer service while constantly being under pressure. I've gone during the quiet hours like 2am, and the staff are always really friendly and joke around. Their drive through is open 24/7 which in itself is a massive achievement. There's this one fellow who works there all the time and he always seems super stressed but takes care of customers as best as he can. Props to him and the entire team.

Fast service, friendly interaction with customer service attendant. Hot, fresh and tasty French fries and classic double cheese burger. The best McCafé coffee (mocha). Always consistent hot drinks.

Always coming here due to close to where I live and drive thru is not as fast as others but that’s fine; until tonight the staff my husband spoken to was rude and not professional. If they are short staff, they could’ve atleast informed the customer of long wait times so we can decide for ourselves if we can wait or not or just close the drive thru if they cannot accomodate the number of customers. We have been told “just a moment”. But that moment took us 10mins of waiting still not taking our order. Didn’t even say that they will might take long taking orders. There’s even no one ahead of us, might be driven fast as well as they’re not accomodating customers properly. We lost our patience because our son is already hungry. Instead of explaining properly why the long wait, the staff are quite rude.

When you wait 25mins for your food then get home only to have one patty in your cheese burger, nothing in the other and no onions or pickles. What has happened to this place, who misses a patty. Definitely won't be back

Greatly dissapointed. The drive through asked for our car to be parked which was perfectly fine. However, after waiting 20 minutes they completely forgot the order. I had to walk in myself despite a injury for them to make the order. Not happy, never coming again.

So glad to hear this place is back to 24hr opening. Late night service can be slow at times, but I've always had good experiences with the food and service at drive-through. Dine-in, the place is usually clean, but the atmosphere is really brought down by the blaring alarms from the kitchen which can be heard throughout the restaurant. I get the need for these alarms, but why have them so loud that customers can hear them?

Just went through the drive thru at macdonalds northcote. The customer service is depressing to say the least, no hello no thank you no nothing they just stare at you. I was completely polite I smiled at them and they looked straight through me. Seriously if you don’t want to work there resign and give the job to someone who appreciates their job. Service taken at 5:30pm male at cashier and female on food window. Work on your customer service because it sucks.

Waited for 30 mins all up in drive thru. Ordered a BLT with no tomato and recieced a BLT with no bacon instead. The male staff member who took my money was rude and seemed like he really hated his job. Really unimpressed
