Rose's Sushi & Lunch Bar
Got a triple decker chicken and avo sandwich AND sushi for just $6. Yes $6.Nice guy. Great offering. People like this who make delicious food accessible to everyone are rare and deserve a lot of recognition.Given the price to quality ratio I would go as far as saying this is the most underrated food spot in Auckland.

Wow! I drive 30 minutes everytime just to come here for his sushi. He learnt his skills in Japan and makes awesome sushi with creative flavours I’ve never seen elsewhere. Next I must try his big breakfast. A hidden spot you wouldn’t think much of until you try it.

Rose's Sushi & Lunch Bar
This unassuming place is own and run by a very talented young chef that used to be the head chef of a high end Japanese restaurant in New Market. His food is always meticulously prepared. I remember once witnessing him only using a Japanese knife to turn a whole cucumber into a thin roll of cucumber ribbon. No special slicer required, amazing.Highly recommended!
