.(12/2017)This Scenic Lookout is part of beautiful Muriwai reserve spread around the Muriwai beach.Well maintained. Good directions provided at short distances.Lovely views.There are short routes / trails towards the beach.Quiet and peaceful reserve. Ideal place to spend some time with yourself or to do meditation.Within easy reach from the beach or parking area.Seating and benches are provided at regular distances for taking rest and enjoying the views.Lot of viewpoints with dedicated viewing areas and seats can be found during the walk.Spacious parking area. Wheelchair parking is available and there is wheelchair accessible entrance.

Muriwai Scenic Lookout
This Scenic Lookout is spectacular, nice view of the ocean. There are short trails towards the beach, going down the beach is a must. You could get a walk at the beach or just sit on a rock watching the waves hit the sand is the best. Also, do check for the tides if you plan to go the beach though. This place is also great for people who are interested in the history of the rocks layer.

Great lookout and viewing decks, even tho i've been here multiple times already, it's always stunning on a good day. plenty of parking around. plus the small cafe has some pretty good prices for portions of food :)

The closest carpark for the gannet colonies. It has a view of the beach below. The entrance to the gannet colonies is to the side.

Muriwai Scenic Lookout
Came here to see the gannets and was not disappointed. There were so many of them and it was so awesome to see. The cliffs and the black sand was also a great sight to see. Plenty of vantage points to take nice photos as well. Would definitely recommend anyone coming here if they have a car in Auckland as it’s not usually included on a day tour package.

Muriwai Scenic Lookout
This place is spectacular. More parking spaces, nice view of the ocean, and the bird sanctuary is easily accessible to the visitors where they can come extremely close to the birds to take pictures and observe.
