When I moved to Christchurch, I was super excited to see a curly hairdresser with such good reviews. I waited 6 weeks to get an appointment on a Saturday. The day prior to my appointment I received a text asking to reschedule (no reason given) which was fine as things happen. The earliest I could be seen was the following Saturday, so I changed my plans to head out of town and booked in. I turned up to my appointment on the Saturday to find the hairdresser closed. I rang the main line, no answer, so I rang the phone number that I’d been messaged on previously. Upon explaining that I was at the shop, I was advised “sorry we are closed on Saturdays” and then I explained that I’d been rebooked from the Saturday prior, to which I got a “oh, my fault”. By the time I got home, I received a text message saying “so sorry. I don’t know what happened there, can I offer you a complimentary cut?”. Whilst still a little frustrated, I was happy with that as a response, so I asked when the next appointment was. 6 days later, I have had no response. Overall, disappointing.

I went to have my curly hair cut from Nadia. I asked for a trim and I had been growing my hair for the last year. Literally all my hair was cut off its so short after my curl bounced back up. I can barely tie it up. It's uneven with big chunks out of it. I payed $85 and was in and out in 20 mins with a disaster of a haircut it will take me a year to grow back. Nadia didn't listen to what I wanted at all. I contacted her to which she said she was sorry and asked when my booking was? No offer of money back I would not recommend her for curly haircuts and will never go back. Think you should give up hairdressing Nadia you can tell you are not interested in it anymore and don't care about you clients.

The lovely Nadia cut my curly locks. Amazing dry cut she had a lot of knowledge of curly hair and the end result I’m very happy with. I will be back next time I’m in Chch :)

I think something is to be said for the lack of *recent* positive reviews, because I had a terrible experience here. I went in for a wash + cut, and was in and out of the salon in less than half an hour. Only one person was working and I think this was partially the reason for the quick turn around.I received zero consultation about how my hair should be cut, my wash" was a bit of conditioner put through damp hair and my hair was cut half wet/half dry.I left the salon with frizzy

After 16 years of hunting for a hairdresser who can style my unruly thick, curly hair I have struck gold in Nadia. Not only did she give me the best cut ever but her product and styling advice was spot on and works a treat. Thanks Nadia, my only regret is that I did not find you sooner!

Nadia has been cutting my hair for nearly a year - always does a great cut, and has put alot of effort in to ensure the colour is what I want.I would thoroughly recommend her!
