A very nice secluded spot in the East cost bays in Wellington.Easily approachable via public transport and road too.The views from the point are awesome and exceptional on a clear sunny day.Point Dorset and Fort Dorset are a part of this reserve.The walks to the point and down to Breakers Bay are enjoyable and require a normal fitness level.The large ships sailing through the Wellington harbour can be seen from here and present a great sight.Well recommended for half a day trip and picnic.

Such a beautiful place with a small playground and public toilets and pretty beach. Great for kite surfing when the winds to the north. Some parts around the public toilets are wheelchair and strollers accessible

A fantastic walk towards the heads of the harbour. There are a few steps but a pretty gentle walk. There is a park for kids and beach for picnics.

Nice to get some sunshine in the winter. Took 2 dogs with us for this easy walk beside the sea. It is a fairly busy track with people and dogs enjoying the area. Comfy shoes are a must as the track is not completely smooth and for additional challenge there is a path up to the top of the hill.
