We come from Auckland to have their yummiest real fruit Ice Cream! Our fav. Is their Tropical icecream with Pineapple & Mangoes. They do with Feijoa aswell. Keep it like this guys!

How can you not stop at a place called Big Azz Ice Cream?Big Azz makes freshly blended ice crwam using local fruit. You chiose rhe fruit, they blend it. The price? Little Azz! A huge pile of ice cream on a waffle cone for $7 NZD. That's crazy cheap for what you get.Go eat lunch at Thirsty Weta and then come here for dessert. You'll be full, happy and Big Azz.

It's real good. Esp tropical (pineapple + kiwi) avoid berry flavored ice cream unless you love spitting seeds. Great ice cream though fresh and tasty

Staff was super friendly! Ice cream was very good. They have a fresh fruit ice cream version that they make on the spot! I got the normal strawberry ice cream (not the fresh fruit) and it was pretty good. It was nice to sit in the shade after a day in Waitomo and enjoy the ice cream here.

Absolutely delicious. Perfect rest stop treat. We'll definitely make this a regular if we're passing by haha. They have tables out front to sit and enjoy your snack. Try it!

The ice creams will not disappoint, value for money you get a decent serve, however once you get your ice cream, you have to wait in line to pay because it's a fruit and vegetable shop as well, and they only have one eftpos terminal, so if there is cue, which I experience, your ice cream melts while waiting to pay.
