Honest Chocolat

Absolute pleasure to visit this lovely chocolate beverage shop. Love the deco and vibe here. Always good to pay a visit. Especially under a rainy day. It make you heart warmer inside out. The dark chocolate was real tasty and good quality. I love the experience it brought to me. You know it's good quality chocolate when you start drinking it. The complimentary Marshmello is very soft and well spiced as well. Brownies was nice and mois inside. Wish could put a bit more chocolate inside. But can't complain at all. Will definitely come back. Good place to catch up with mates or date. 10/10. Good value and services.

Best chocolates ever! I loved the hot chocolate and the brownies are amazing!

Lovely looking place, but this was not a great hot chocolate. The drink and edible cup were quite bitter tasting, I couldn’t even taste the chocolate in the drink. It tasted more like a coffee - and I really don’t like coffee. It was expensive and very highly rated so I did expect better. Sorry guys.

Great quality and good service everything in this place is on point from the ambiance, services and product. The place was aesthetically pleasing it didn't need to try hard. The counter display was neat and we'll arranged the selection of beverage was just right and good price. The service was caring but not intimidating. The quality of their chocolate is spot on you'll know it's good when it melts just right. Not sweet but flavourful we also had the brownie it was gooey chocolatey crumby it was a delight the dark spiced hot chocolate was delicious the texture is not thick which is pleasing to drink the balance of the spice and the chocolate and milk is fantastic.

This review is only based on the matcha white hot chocolate with coconut milk. It was very watery and had a weak matcha flavor and an even weaker white chocolate taste. Pretty disappointing as it was $10. The marshmallow was good though. My friend really enjoyed his normal hot chocolate so next time I’d try that. I appreciate they allow you to select alternative milk option free of charge.

Me and my mom were very excited to try the hot chocolate because we heard good reviews. On Monday we got there at 17:45 and even though they closed at 18:00 the cashier said that because they were about to close they don’t sell serve more drinks and we can come back tomorrow. So we came back again the next day at 17:20 and the same girl told us that they’re serving drinks just for to go and we can’t sit there to drink. It was very sad and disappointed, we couldn’t try and we had a bad experience.

I was excited to try this place and have to say I was rather disappointed. Everything looks lovely, the chocolate is divine but I’d say stay away from the cakes. I ordered the salted caramel dark chocolate cake and it was dry and not enjoyable. Only edible dunking it my hot chocolate. When I asked the staff member whether it was fresh she said yes. Very disappointing for overpriced dessert. I didn’t finish this and definitely won’t be ordering the cakes again.

Love this place, try the hot chocolates with macadamia milk, it's dairy free as are many of the delicious chocolates there. Really good for gift ideas too.
