Loved our stay here! You can tell when this hotel was built it was well thought out using high quality finishes. Yes it’s a bit older now but nothing beats the views from the rooms / restaurants / gym. We would stay here again in a heart beat

Stayed for 2 nights in a river view room- definitely recommend paying the extra for a river view room, the view is just breathtaking, and definitely was the best thing about our stay. Rooms are a bit older (although I think our bathroom may have been upgraded, as it was nice) but comfortable enough, bed was good, and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was fantastic and we loved the opportunity to visit it. Overall we were happy with our stay.

I cant believe I’m even giving this place a 1 star rating. It should be a 0. This hotel is unspeakably appalling. After 3 days of tears, utter grief and disappointment I am writing this review. For starters, there was dangerous flooding in the bathroom, ripped rotting curtains, broken heaters, did functioned telephones, shower head doesn’t even stay up, missing door handles, holes in the roof, cracks in the walls, and a said to be “new” bed that has a missing leg - which I actually fell out of. There is unidentified liquid substance on the carpet and patio which looks like blood, wine or even urine. Our supposed “garden view” is actually just a brick wall we are staring at with a few leaves and empty trees. We have spoken to the manager multiple times asking for refunds or upgrade but he even said himself that all the rooms are like this. He as certainly not willing to help us in any way shape or form even though we had all these other issues. This hotel was not up to the standard of luxury that it looks in the pictures. One thing I would say is the beautician is absolutely lovely and was the most helpful out of any staff here. I definitely highly recommend her.

The view was great, this was literally the only hotel we could find with a spa. Bus stop only a minute walk away make sure to take cash if you don't have a bee card. Shot over jet and canyon swing are close by.

I loved it here.Much more affordable than Queenstown and so much more peaceful, smack bang next to Mountain scenery.I really enjoyed the garden view room as it was convenient with two entry ways. The hotel was very well built and the dining area is phenomenonal with the mountain views. For what you get though for $30, the breakfast buffet isn't worth it. It should only really be $15 with the options that were there (not many for vegos). The hotel is very cosy and comfortable, the sauna is a great amenity. My favourite part of this hotel was the shower pressure! It was amazing, felt like a massage. Didn't expect it either as the bathroom looked pretty basic in itself. All in all a very modest but comfortable hotel, looking forward to coming back later.

Such an amazing property with stunning views, awesome staff and a ancient royal Greek theme that we loved. Felt like we were a king and queen in a marble palace at times. The breakfast was divine and huge rooms.

0/10 Terrible! Room was cold, spa pool broken, pool tepid at best, dining room closed and no barista for coffee. Paid for 2-bedroom suite, which was empty of furniture except a sofa and two random chairs, also no curtains rather old roller blinds. Hugely disappointing, would not recommend. Awful experience

I came here with friends and used the 1hr Private Hot Tub + 1-hour session with free use of the pool, public hot tub sauna and steam room. The hot tub had a lovely view. We were also given access to the collection and sauna (when the steam room was out of order). The facilities were immaculate and excellently maintained. The hot tubs and indoor pool had a perfect temperature. We came around mid-day, which meant that the indoor pool and sauna were empty and we could use them for well over our allocated 1 hour - very much appreciated. One potential improvement which could be made is to have some shade over the outdoor private hot tub. I would note that the receptionist had an oddly stern welcome, basically telling us off for being 5mins late without any greeting (it was odd given the empty facilities)… but this is forgiven for the excellent facilities.

I stayed in early July, the Room Was cold, the heater doesn't work well. And what is worse, No hot water! That's ridiculous. Cant take shower in the freezing cold morning. And paid 498.00 nzd for two nights.Well, and you can't use your phone because there was no reception at all.Never ever stayed here again, worst accommodation in queenstown.

A mixed review:As soon as you step into the hotel lobby, you are greeted with a warm smile from the receptionist, a friendly and knowledgeable Spanish woman. She speaks clear English and immediately makes you feel at home. She is well-versed in everything related to the hotel and knows the Queenstown area like the back of her hand. She eagerly shares her insider knowledge of the area's best places to eat, drink, and explore. The receptionist was always available to assist with any requests or questions throughout your stay. Her kindness and willingness to go above and beyond make your experience at the hotel an unforgettable one.Whether arranging a taxi, recommending a hiking trail, or simply checking in to ensure your stay is going smoothly, the receptionist is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Her friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service make her an asset to the hotel. Thanks to this wonderful receptionist, you leave Queenstown with memories of the stunning scenery and activities and a newfound appreciation for the kind and welcoming nature of the locals. However, unfortunately, I had a negative encounter with the hotel owner. During my stay, I encountered him while he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol (quite heavily), which left me feeling quite uncomfortable and disappointed. As a guest, I expect high professionalism and hospitality from the staff, especially the hotel owner, who represents the hotel's brand. However, his behavior fell short of my expectations, negatively impacting my overall experience.I hope the hotel management will constructively take this feedback and address this issue with the owner. Maintaining a standard of professionalism is essential to create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests.Despite this negative experience, I would like to acknowledge the other hotel staff members who were polite, courteous, and helpful throughout my stay. I appreciated their excellent customer service and attention to detail, which helped to make my stay enjoyable.Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope that my feedback will be taken into consideration to improve the hotel's overall guest experience.
