This place used to be full of kids on their skateboards, bikes, mopeds, etc. on the weekend. With the dawn of Mobile Gaming like Minecraft and Fortnite. This place is basically deserted. Every time I drive past, it is rare to see more than 5 kids playing there.So sad. No more will we see future X-Games athletes representing New Zealand in Skateboarding or BMX. Not that we have any to begin with. Still sad.If only parents can nurture their kids better instead of taking the cowards way out. Giving them a mobile phone just to keep them quiet. For shame.

this skatepark is super fun, theres a lot of stuff you can do there. the bowls a bit weird to drop into and it’s a bit of an adrenaline boost. sad to see there really isn’t anyone there anymore. It used to be full of kids with scooters, skateboards and bikes. but unfortunately kids found video games and social media. i am a kid myself ( teenager ) and i still enjoy outdoors a lot. i went with my friend and it was awesome! definitely recommend for beginners and advanced skaters ( or people with scooters

Good place to graze an elbow, or break a leg, but hey why not you need to do that sort of thing before you turn fifty. My kids like this one. Probably a little bit less than the skatepark at Waterview, yet this one's great for its variety of ramps and its bowl. Something that Waterview is missing (the bowl) which is a bummer

Good park to ride for beginners although can become infested with snakes at the drop of a hat. Could use some outdoor flood lights in the winter months for that extra shredability, also more shade in the summer I mean trees are good but not close to the action of the park.
