First of all, I don't even like fish. I went here because I saw high reviews and that chicken was an option. As I was ordering, I thought what the heck, I'll give the fish a whirl too. Turns out it was even better than the chicken - something I still can't believe I'm even saying. If you like fish, you'll love this gem. If you don't like fish, this could be the experience that changes your mind. It certainly did for me!

Absolutely 5 star food. Fish, chicken, vegetarian and chips - takeaway style - but handcrafted with incredible skill and care. Food to die for. Such a great product from such a small van! If you're in Tekapo you cannot leave without trying the food here - top notch, and they even have gluten free options! Props to the crew running this most excellent business! Clean, fresh and excellent value.

Absolutely amazing fish and chips stand! The fish had amazing batter and the chips were the best chips i had on my entire world trip, well seasoned and perfect crunch.The couple running this stand are lovely and this place has only been up and running for 2 months. Prices are fair and portions are big! Definitely check them out if you got the time ;)

This is an amazing place that truly surprised me. We arrived there after dark. The husband and wife are super friendly. They are hard working too. The fish and chips are totally delicious. I enjoyed my time eating there at the food truck, chatting with the owners. I'd definitely go back there when I can. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

Randomly chanced upon them and decide to have a try and it’s the best decision ever. The freshest fried calamari I’ve ever tasted. It was so good that we made a trip back the next day to try out the rest of the menu. All the other fried snacks are equally good, totally worth the trip if you’re near the area.

Awesome little roadside food stall. Very friendly and great service. Tempura'ish style batter - light but crunchy. Fish was tasty and moist. Shoestring fries. Would recommend. And an awesome view to boot. Council provided seating and rubbish poor, but grass area under trees was pleasant. Just keep an eye on the white rats with wings.

Some of the best fish and chips of my life. Batter was amazing, fish fresh and chips to die for!The couple running this stand are high energy and bring great joy to the experience. Prices are more than reasonable and portions are huge!Make the time to lock them in.

Came here with my friend while exploring lake tekapo in May2023. We ordered the fish and chips and chicken (popcorn chicken) and chips. The food was amazing. Batter was really better than other establishments I had. The portion of fries given was generous! The coleslaw was also delicious.
