Pita Pit

MUST READ!Very disappointed with the owner at Pita Pit here. I am legally exempt from wearing a mask because I suffer from breathing problems. I show him my exempt and the owner refuses to serve me. I told that I am exempt and he quickly picked up a temper and fuss raising his voice for no reason like I had angered him when all I was waiting was to order my food. Me and also from the expressions from the other people inside the store were shocked.This is New Zealand, a country where we accept all different types of people and do not discriminate. However, here at Pita Pit Featherston Street, this was a complete different story. This was the first time I’ve truly felt discriminated and am upset that there are people like this in New Zealand that will discriminate due to people’s health reasons that I have no control over and just wanting some food but then being hostility denied and embarrassed infront of everyone in the store.Just imagine if I was an old lady that suffered from breathing problems, I’d feel sad for her if she walked into this store and had to deal with this owner.Not professional, not Kiwi acceptable and the owner there should think twice about how they treat their customers, especially those who suffer from health problems.Would not recommend to go there in due to the fact that this type of behaviour is not acceptable especially in the country.NO DISCRIMINATION

The food is really nice but be careful what you order. Juices from my food have so much leaked out onto my clothes which would've been alright if I wear work clothes or such. Best to eat by a table.

Service was great, food was 10/10 location had easy access, only thing I'd like improvement on is how much deodorant the workers put on

Pita Pit is such a delicious change from having Subway, McDonald's and Burger King.The food is delicious and tasty. Each item was crafted with love by the makers. Just the right amount of lettuce etc and plentiful with meat and delicious sauces. The food looks delicious and just made.Unlike the others mentioned who throw more lettuce than can be stomached.z

I have to put a (late) review here because I just reviewed a different Pita Pit store which was so disappointing after having eaten from Pita Pit Featherston St.Heads up not all Pita Pits are created equal and Featherston St is the one to go to.I'm going to order from here again this week to do a pic and check it's still good but last time I got a salad from here the service was really nice and the food really really exceeded my expectations for a takeaway salad, would recommend over most other places that do take away salad.Just don't expect every Pita Pit to deliver the same quality.

This is the best Pita Pit around by far. The food is always consistent, fresh and tasty. The service is prompt and the place is clean. Especially love The Med. Thanks team!Ps Wish all Pita Pits were as good as the Featherston Street, Wellington one.

They took more than 45 mins for my order .Lunch time is insane busy when you only have 30 mins break .He doesn’t even care if someone is picking up from uber eats!!Dont go during peak times
