St Dominic Church

Prefer to come to this church because Father Mario always gives touching homilies that live on my memory. There's plenty parking space too.

Small catholic church used mainly for school events or funerals. Have weekly services. Needs better signage for where the toilets are and upgrade to sound systems very hard to hear priest or see the service words on screen.

I keep going back to get more from the lovely and friendly multi ethnic church community, the lovely priest greets you by your name at the entrance with the most beautiful angelic smile, the parishioners of the 6.00pm Vigil Mass parishioners are all too welcoming, which makes me returning each week. Fr Mario shares a friendly religious joke or part of his priestly life journey and experiences before the final blessing, leaving us trembling with laughter in the pews, life lesson learnt from it tends to stay in your memory for the rest of the week. He sure makes a humongous difference in our church family now and moving forward with Covid19. God bless NZ

Love the school everyone is wonderful! My daughter last year was last year now my son is year 5. 2 more years it’s going to be sad on my son last day at St Dominic.

As a member of this parish for the past twenty six years I have seen several Parish Priests come and go. We have now been advised that the Rev.Fr. Savelio Tevaga is leaving. I for one will be very sorry to see him go. Now to get to the point, His replacement I understand will be a young priest and I wish him all the best. Unfortunatly past history has shown that not all new young priests at St Dominic's have been given the welcome they deserve so I do hope that attitudes have changed somewhat and that they give the man a go.........Enough said.
