Had a great time. Sashimi was so fresh and well presented. All ingredients are fresh and outstanding. Tried wasabi octopus, deliciously tasty and not over powering by wasabi - well balanced. Atmosphere was great with great service. Definitely will go back again. 5 out of 5

The food was great although a little expensive for the serving size. What spoils it for me is they won’t sell you a glass of wine only a bottle for $49.

Small pricey portions, average service, food quality doesn’t reflect the price. They also don’t list the dietary information, so be careful. I’ll stick with Angry Ramen in Lower Hutt, and avoid this joint.

Authentic Japanese Izakaya, great Sake selection, garlic prawns, grilled black cod and tempura prawns hit my taste buds. Will definitely come back.

As a group we found the meals to be expensive for the portion size and not super tasty. I had the sizzling beef and I thought it would be tender and juicy but it was a bit tough and just came with onions and you had to pay for rice seperate. Lovely decor and atmosphere but not best quality and value for food. Won't be going back to food but would for drinks.
