Having just done one of the day walks, we were treated to a variety of terrain, great views, great packed lunch and what lovely hosts! So much on offer!

Matahuru Valley Walk
I really enjoyed my walk at Matahuru Valley Walk from the moment you enter the road heading to your destination you are greeted with stunning views that carry’s on throughout the hole walk the host are very friendly and accommodating the food was amazing there’s lots to see on the walk it was important to stop and take it all in i personally enjoyed the levels of easy medium and hard on the walk and will definitely be back again.

Matahuru Valley Walk
Absolutely loved this walk from Tui Ridge farm stay. A great hill workout with stunning scenery and views all the way! The track is well maintained and marked so no getting lost up there! Our hosts were wonderful, and the food was healthy, wholesome and delicious! Highly recommended for those wanting to be well looked after, as well as wanting to get out in nature and enjoy all that’s on offer!

Matahuru Valley Walk
Great variety of track. Green paddocks. Native bush. Farm tracks. All well marked. A good steep climb to the cell tower. Views would be incredible on a clear day. Recommended.

Matahuru Valley Walk
Absolutely wonderful experience on authentic working farms. Accomodation, food, instructions, friendly hosts, and the landscape were memorable. The article by Denise Irvine in the Waikato Times whet our appetite and the experience more than met our expectations. Huge thanks to the three rural women who have been courageous enough to set this walk up and we wish them every success in their future seasons.

Matahuru Valley Walk
A beautiful country walk with plenty of variety - a great combo of decent hills with amazing views, stream crossings, mud, beautiful bush, farmland, birds, cows, sheep, goats and hares. Always interesting, never boring. I finished the day with that satisfied feeling of a good day well had :) Thanks so much to MVW for having us, definitely recommend

Matahuru Valley Walk
I was bought a gift voucher for this two night experience for 2. We enjoyed both days of walking , views and fab food. The well set up accommodation was certainly conducive to great conversation and a comfortable night after a day's walking in the hills. Great to be meeting new people and a bonus for us to be so close to home in Auckland. You are doing a wonderful job ladies!

Matahuru Valley Walk
Beautiful walk through a mixture of farmland and native bush + stunning views down the valley and of the firth of Thames. Super accessible and close to Auckland. Food was provided with lots of options and was absolutely delicious!! Can’t recommend enough for an easy weekend getaway :)

Matahuru Valley Walk
We had a fabulous walk. It was a great temperature and although windy at the top just an extra light layer was needed. If you are after beautiful farm land, picture perfect views at the top then this is a must. Great company, yummy food and lovely to see something on our doorstep as cool as this!
