Melissa at Sweet Creations done a superb job with making our wedding cake. I requested simple, effective and delicious - Delivered on all levels and more.The cake was three tiers:Top tier - mud cake with vanilla bean meringue butter cream.Middle tier - carrot cake (walnuts included) with cream cheese butter cream.Bottom tier white chocolate and Vanilla Cake with Raspberry Butter Cream.I have to share a joke here from the Best Man's speech it has been an emotional day even the cake is in tears".Being sailors

Stumbled upon this place while trying to find something sweet in Blenheim. Straight away the decor had me in high hopes for the desserts in the display cabinet. After a tough decision I got the Chocolate Licorice Tart and Chocolate Peanutbutter Cupcake. I don’t normally have time for cupcakes but this was definitely one of the best I’ve had and absolutely delicious! Soft and fluffy whilst not being crumbly or dry, it actually tasted like Peanut Butter and nothing was too sweet, the flavours were balanced. I was afraid the tart would just taste like chocolate but it is definitely licorice!! Again this was delicious, rich and not overly sweet. Not only that but the items were very affordable and although I got takeaway it would be a really nice place to stay with a drink.

Melissa, if you are too busy to make a wedding cake with 6 weeks notice, graciously decline, rather than dropping the pen and paper and walking off in a huff. You've obviously done some great work in the past but we are appaled at how you handled our polite request and couldn't recommend you to anyone. If you had replied to our emails we wouldn't have had to visit your shop and inconvenience you.

This place is utterly amazing. Their website, communications and catering help and delivery is OUTSTANDING. Every mouthful of their food is delicious. Sandwiches and High Tea are especially great. The cheese cake from this shop it Out Of This World" good. Terrific everything. What a wonderful find. High teas are delicious."
