Went there on 1 Oct 2022 and it’s closed now ‘available for lease’ not a person on site. No petrol, or diesel available. 50km south is closest.

Ask about shuttle service and parking for Te Paki Trail at this little gas station! We arrived here and the friendly lady organised our ride (and safe car parking) to and from the trail. Reasonable price, friendly and reliable service. They were there waiting for us at trail end after four days of hiking. Highly recommend using this service.

We ordered a single scoop of ice cream, chips, a muscle fritter and a flat white. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and their service was quick.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while charging EV. Freshly smoked kingfish was a treat and the burgers were tasty and fresh. Got very busy but the people running the store were super friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff! So friendly and polite. The fish and chips were delicious- chips soft inside, crispy outside. Fish was Dory and absolutely amazing. Ice out of stock due to ice-maker malfunction. Water, fizzy drink and ice creams available. Petrol and electric charging available. There is a bottle shop and small restaurant also.

Called in on the way back from Spirits bay. Ordered hamburgers food was fresh and enjoyed. Small selection dairy and liquor swere closed. Due to covid still gaining staff to return to normal business trading.

Not sure why people mentioned it's closed.. the shop is close (maybe) I reach there at 4pm.. on 12 Oct 22. The pumps are working, self service and need to use credit card. My advice is if u not sure credit card self service work for u top up before u reach here.. can be hair wringing otherwise. Yes the pump are on 24 hrs. Self service credit card.
