Pearce Brothers Manurewa

Absolute terrifying experience.So this morning I had gone with my younger brother and mother to this Carlot, when test driving the car everything was going well but as soon as getting onto the motorway the cars engine just blew and white smoke was everywhere, which unfortunately me and my younger brother were engulfed with, the car could only do 50km p/h on the motorway before stopping. We were absolutely shocked too see it had a recent WOF on it as well, the car was on the verge of getting on fire, after having pulled over and getting picked up by the Older gentlemen working here, I was surprised to see the lack of communication, lack of empathy, lack of understanding shown by this gentlemen, the man then proceeds to laugh, and tells us abruptly to get out, showing no care for the fact we almost died, and poke fun at the fact that the back doors have child locks on them, poking fun at my younger brother.This is not the professionalism I would have expected from Pearce brothers, this carelessness is something you only see in movies, will not be buying from Pearce brothers ever again.Pro tip : before test driving a car make sure you have your will written out, and don’t expect the older gentlemen here to show any professionalism. Such a shame.

Friendly team to deal with, very accommodating to your needs. Drove around in a couple SUV's, negotiations didnt work on either party but we were close but truly Appreciated the service from the team.

Didn't end up buying a car but had a deposit down for one and changed our mind last minute.Dealt with both Richard and Rion who were very pleasant and not pushy at all which was refreshing, refund was processed on the same day we requested it without hesitation or any mind games. Very positive experience despite not proceeding with the purchase.

really hit or miss with the cars and service here. bought 2 cars here with my mum- one of them is in perfect working condition and had the broken sensor replaced as discussed before the deal. other one was given to us late, did not fix the bumper they said they would and has no rear windscreen wiper blade- just an arm. haven't tried to contact them about these issues yet, so no comments on their responsiveness to calls/emails.

Giving 2 star because they didn’t communicate very well and especially since putting my partner down as a individual applicant to finance a car we never heard anything back yet they responded when it was a joint applicant of both of us. I consider this bad customer service. You guys may be great every other way hence the 2nd star but communicating with us is a definite 1 star

I have had the pleasure in dealing with Richard Nimmo. since 2021 got my commodore from the papatoetoe branch his customer service skills are just pure genuine. he works with you [ yes, he has a job to do ] in 2022 i got another vehicle from him at the manurewa branch. he is a salesmen you can really feel comfortable with and he goes the extra mile.

Went into Pearce brothers after not having pleasant experiences at various other car dealers in Auckland. Richard was incredibly helpful, kind and honest. He made sure I understood what I was buying and explained everything very clearly.
