Can't fault the service. Quick service. Friendly and welcoming. Good job. I was underwhelmed with the fish and chips. Very fatty. It was so disappointing after reading the other feedback. It wasn't a busy time of day, mid afternoon. I was one of 3 customers. Found a park outside easily, possibly wouldn't when it is busy.

This place used to have a really good reputation. We’d run out of gas and I needed dinner for the family quick, my usual place wasn’t open. But it certainly didn’t live up to my expectations (or my regular). The crumbed fish was quite good, although there seemed to be quite a noticeable ‘soggy’ bit between the crunchy outside and the fish. The chips were the most disappointing. They were soggy and very poorly cooked. I didn’t eat many, in fact we threw a large portion away.

Came in today after placing a phone order for all gluten free food. Which I repeated several times to make sure it was all GF. I got home with my order and only 1 item out of 4 was gluten free. Very frustrating especially when there are 2 gluten free people in our household. The quality of the food we received was below average, the chips did not taste nice at all. The GF meat patty however was nice. I won't be ordering from this shop again, would prefer to drive across town to the other GF fish n chip shops.

This place is usually pretty good but was a little offended for my son when she held up the $50 note he gave to her to see if it was legit. They may have had problems I don't know but it seemed she could have been more discreet. They also raised the price of the oysters on the public holiday, in saying that they were delicious!

The burger was outstanding. Generous serving of chips not to salty. Blue cod serving was huge. Gluten free fish was nicely batter.Have good selection of gluten free products. Ladies serving were delightful and so cheery. Cracroft fresh fish never fails to deliver.

Disgusting, ordered a crumbed sole and half a scoop of chips which was way overpriced ($11.20) for the quality, I gave the sole to my rotties and they wouldn't even eat it as it was rock hard overcooked. Won't be back and definitely don't recommend.

Great fish and chips. Nice to see large pieces of fresh fried fish, no pre-cooking. I like extra crispy chips and these were perfect! I can definitely tell why they've been judged #1 before.

Burger was good Lil dry the chips not the best Lil under cooked and the type was not to personal liking but others may like it. Service was good prices are very good
