Great stop...you must be tired of driving the tight corners....so take a break. Let the view do the magic.... Sure some low reviews...rain...wind... Just some ordinary landscape ..but on a good day you can spot Mt Taranaki and Mt Ruapehu at the same time!... (As we did)... Magical lookout. IG #stormypointlookout

Incredible vista on Highway 54. Great place for an impromptu pitstop on this quiet stretch of road. Can see for kms in every direction, with signage to help you identify points of interest.
