Extremely scary experience with this store today. Came for my appointment to have a tyre changed this morning, the young worker told us we would have to wait 30 minutes so politely questioned him is our appointment not at 930 he then told us he would go ask the manager, the manager then walked out very angry with a tyre iron in his hand and asked us if we have a problem in an agressive manner, we replied confused saying no we just have an appointment at 930 he then dropped the tyre iron and agressively said well its 930 and your here arnt you then he walked off, i felt very intimated and scard and another customer who witnessed it asked if we were okay because that was very scary for her to witness as well. The manager later apologized as he realised he was in the wrong, but no custmer should ever be made to feel scared or intimated ever. No custoner should ever be threathened with a weapon.

Great work by Monty and his crew, they had to order a tire to match my existing set, had it there in a day, fitted etc. Very helpful, great service and keeping it local - Well done Monty - you rock!

got a quote online185/70R14 LAUFENN LH41 $140.00185/70R14 GOPRO ENTRO CS1 $135.00Price per tyre, fitted, balanced, valve, disposal and GST includedagreed the price for Laufenn, was told to call the browns bay branch to check stock.Called the branch, greed the same price and the stock and booked a time for the next day.sent my wife down with a print out of the quote as I was at work.Was charged the price of the Laufenns but was fitted go pros. My Wife assumed they had fitted what was quoted and asked for. I only noticed days later when I happend to catch a glance at the brand on the tyre.So I paid the price promised but didnt get the product promised. Even though the price difference was only $20, If the product I wanted wasnt in stock then I should have been charged for what was fitted, not what was quoted.My takeaway from this......the company, or this specific branch is not trustworthy.March 2023
