College Hill Doctors

Mostly okay general practice. I take my son here and have found the availability of appointments good, and parking good for parents with babies. The practice nurse was professional also. I also used to be enrolled here, however I was bodyshamed by one of the female GPs here after putting on a few kg during a period of disruption in my life, so if you are looking for a body positive and supportive doctor this might not be the right practice for you.

Visited as a casual patient, was kept waiting 30 mins after my appointment time before I saw the doctor with no apology for running late. The doctor was cold and uncaring, her cellphone rang during our consultation, and 4 days later I still haven't heard back with results. Wouldn't recommend for casual patients- Don't even really deserve one star.

It was our second visit today to College Hill Doctors. I took my 3 month old baby to get her second vaccination. The nurse who looked after us was not as professional as I think she should be.She asked whether the baby had any reaction after the first vaccination. My answer was - she had some diarrhoea. The nurse then said that the vaccination should not have caused any diarrhoea.I just read the immunisation information sheet, it clearly states that diarrhoea was a common reaction.It's disappointing that the nurse was so wrong with her advice to us.

Awful and condescending towards my mental health. I’ve been days without my medication because the doctor “forgot” to send it through. I’ve never felt more denied and unheard in all my life. Making me go to more psychs to prove my mental illness when I’ve been on the same meds for 10 years. Make me feel like a piece of trash for being mentally I’ll, refused to test me for ADHD and are trying to actively stop me from being able to receive my disability benefit even though I have diagnosed bpd, ptsd, ocd Among other things. Just disgusting. They also charge me just for sending my prescription to the pharmacy. Scamming the sick? Yikes

I'm shocked that this place only got 3.7 star review. This deserve 5 stars!I've seen 3 different GPs from CHD, I found them all to be very understanding, sympathetic and listened to what I had to say. My GP helped me made a formal/educated decision on which medication I should be on instead of forcing me to take whatever. I understand as a new patient, there are some protocols and forms you have to fill out, which might be why the wait is longer than usual but from my second visit onward, I've only ever have wait 5 minutes max which put my mind at ease whenever I need to visit my GP during a lunch break. Parking on College Hill can be a nightmare but I have had zero difficulties finding one in the past year since I've been with CHD. The fee is on an expensive side but you definitely get what you paid for. 5 stars.

I've been with College Hill doctors for 2 years now. I'm very happy with the services provided by them. Thank you specifically to the very helpful receptionists who understands my bad English on the phone and I don't have to stress over making phone calls when I need an appointment. I have received great GP advice and I feel that my health concerns were heard and looked after.

Great practice. Reception were organised and helpful whilst setting me up for a casual patient (on working holiday visa). Dr Chen was brilliant and looked at all possibilities when discussing my symptoms and diagnosis. Explained a bit more about how services work in NZ which was useful. Also they took covid safety very seriously which reassured me.

Friendly, patient, and thorough doctors. Fully equipped and friendly staff members too. Consultation fees are on the dearer side of the scale. Finding parking can be a challenge at times. They do have parking at the back, but the number is very limited.

I have been very happy with the doctor in this clinic until I have to switch my GP to a new location as I moved out of living in the city. My last visit there they didn't inform me that my files has been transferred out when I was making the appointment, after I arrived the clinic, they told me they will charge me $80 for this visit since my files has been transferred out. What a shock! What a rip off?! They should tell me when I was making the appointment on the phone.I am really disappointed the way they treat their old patient.Updated review:The clinic owner took an action after my 1 star google review and my email complaining. They offered a refund for the extra money charged and apologized for their receptionist's mistake.Thank you very much.
