Randstad Wellington - Recruitment Agency

I am remote working for a NZ Government agency from outside NZ and am payrolled through Randstad. It took numerous emails, me having to elevate it to senior management for Randstad to finally come back after 2 months of me working through them to tell me I can't be paid. I have had to borrow money to pay my bills......and I have still haven't been paid!

Highly recommend Randstad over any other recruitment agency if you are in Palmerston North and I imagine Wellington too. They are the only recruitment agency I have so far found that actually are professional and do their jobs. They coached me through the recruitment and interview process unlike all the other agencies - they helped me take that next step in my career so I can finally get the experience I needed.Note: Take the constructive advice from the consultants, ask questions in your interview (take note of the material Randstad provides), make sure you have notes written down to prepare for questions employers may ask you!I do not recommend some of the other recruitment agencies for the reason you will apply for roles online and be registered and never hear back... you will then apply for another role a few weeks later and have to re register - its like but you already have my details. Other times you may hear back but not for the role you have applied for but some random pick packing role.So yea if you see a role you like apply!!!!!

Very clear communication and they were super persistent at following up where my employment status was with the place I wanted to work... Had a new job that I really wanted in less than a fortnight.Top Class!

Very poor communication. Non-responsive and have to be chased up. Send out incorrect information and cannot keep to timelines. Unreliable and irresponsible and I would never use them by choice. Sorry, but cannot recommend Randstad and suggest looking elsewhere if you want your recruitment process to go reasonably smoothly.

I was a layman but with help from Randstad , l got my first teaching job in New Zealand at a school where l am valued and appreciated. Randstad tailored my C.V to reflect the curriculum expectations. Sometimes it is not because we are unskilled or inexperienced, it is how we market ourselves and this is where Randstad comes in. The team has excellent communication and at no point did they leave me in the dark. Well done Randstad.
