No room cleaning done no towel rails ,no shelving no storage not customer focused , run down waiting for the bulldozers to create a new and innovative space .

Beautiful old hotel, clean n tidy, A wonderful place to stay, great food Fantastic Staff, bar staff very good, funny and knowledgeable.All n all a lovely Hotel

Popped in for a drink and meal Saturday night. Found the menu was for the bar across the road (which we had just left).However as we had already ordered our drink ordered a burger.It came in a takeaway polystyrene container delivered from over the road, which we had to eat from .If we'd wanted takeaways would have gone to a takeaway shop.Will not be going back even for a drink.Expensive burger.

All fine besides the wifi that was not working in my room at all, also they have no dry cleaning and some bathrooms and showers don't close or lock

Is this one of the last traditional NZ Dominion Brewery pubs left in this country? Such a nice change. Friendly locals and staff and treat yourself to a burger - they are HUGE!

My wife and I spent two nights at the Telegraph Hotel. Granted, it wasn't a 5-Star accommodation but we knew that. It was clean, tidy, in the center of town and the price was right. We enjoyed the colorful bar downstairs and all of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return again next year.

Character hotel. I stayed in bunk room upstairs which was fine for the price. Just a little run down but great facilities as you have the hotel's lounge, veranda and dining room at hand plus the upstairs bathroom, kitchen and balcony.

Gorgeous old building. Would have been awesome in the day. In desperate need of a love and a bit of a clean. But priced accordingly and great location.
