I have just completed a guitar build at Binford Luthiery. I chose to build a telecaster style guitar with a few modifications. Trevor was extremely supportive in my design ideas and the whole build experience was enlightening and a wonderful experience. The guitar is beautiful and sounds as good as it looks. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone considering a guitar build with Trevor to enroll and get started as soon as a window of opportunity arises. I have gained new skills and a good understanding of solid body guitar dynamics. A great experience. I now feel confident enough to try another build solo.

Trevor has been working on all my instruments and several of my students for the past 7 years. This ranges from high end instruments like Fender, Taylor, PRS and Tom Anderson all the way down to beginner instruments and everything in between. Electric, Classical, Acoustic, Ukulele as esoteric folk instruments. He has always done great work. Friendly and dependable. Highly recommended.

Trevor set up a new MIM Fender Stratocaster for me which wasn't set up great from the factory the difference afterwards was night and day.Really knowledgeable and skilled, helpful and friendly.A great experience, really happy!

Trevor did a set-up, partial fret dress and replaced the jack of my Fender Stratocaster about 2.5 years ago. Even now it still feels amazing to play and rarely needs tuning. Highly recommended.

I took two of my guitars here to be set up to lower the action to make them easier to play. Wow I got them home and found just how good Trevor is at his job. They both sound so great and with the lowered strings, now so close to the fretboard, vibrato, string bending that add flavour to your playing an make you sound good are so easy to do. It is a must to get your guitar set up by a professional before you start to learn to play and Trevor is that professional. Thanks Trevor for the excellent job you did. I will be back.
