Bell Cross Roberton - BCR Property Management

We are based in Auckland and our rental is based in Christchurch. Nichola and her company helped us rent our first rental property. She did most of the initial work for us virtually. I can't believe she came and met us in person the day we landed in christchurch on a Friday evening. She and her team are so professional, have really good knowledge about the market and are extremely helpful. The whole process has been seamless and we live in peace knowing our property is in good hands. We can't thank Nichola and her team enough. We got a quote from 8 Property Management companies and BCR was the best by far. From affordability to business acumen to transparency to technology - they have it all.

I am a house owner who relies heavily on my management company to take care of my rental property. Everyone at this company has been extremely helpful. I have probably had the most contact with Nichola who has been very responsive and charming. The company took over from my previous property management company a while ago and it's like night and day. Their inspection reports are detailed and come with photos. Necessary maintenance and repairs are done by competent companies in a timely fashion. I feel much more connected and can relax as I know everything is in hand.

Had an issue with an appliance leaking at a property being managed by BCR. The leak caused minor damage to my personal items. BCR team were very responsive and pro-active in reaching resolution. Kept in contact while waiting for third party information with updates and great to deal with during a unique situation.

I have a rental in Christchurch but I live in Australia. I do not recommend BCR. The communication and assistance is of a very low standard. I wish I had gone with a more reputable company to look after my property. Not only was I palmed off to an inexperienced person straight away, but I have not been told of important issues and have only been notified of things that they should have been able to sort without my involvement. Solving issues took months to fix rather than weeks. I felt sorry for my tenants having to deal with the incompetence and have since changed to a much better firm.

The team at BCR are really great im a first time investor. They were able to get me more rent then I thought I could get. The communication has been great, always keeping me in the loop. When the tenant moved out I didn't have to stress of do anything, I got told they were leaving and about a week later there was already new tenants lined up. It makes property investment alot easier knowing you have a team to deal with all the stuff I don't want to. haha
