A very professional company from beginning to end. Polite and knowledgeable sales team (thank you Dan), fantastic service/professional staff calls (shout out to Alyssa) highly competent installers with loads of experience. Wonderful these guys being permanent staff rather than franchise/contractors). Quality equipment used. The follow-up is excellent. Overall, a leader in the industry. (I know as I worked in this industry in the early days for 30 years and it was wonderful to have a professional company specify and install my upgraded system, and for me to find no faults or high pressure unnecessary upselling. I highly recommend them.

We feel really let down by Lightforce and it hasn't been a great experience.We thought we had done our due dilligence by researching all of the different options on the market. We felt confident that we had chosen a solid NZ owned company to support who had great reviews and a competitive price.We signed up, paid our deposit and then the cracks begun to show.Vital details were left out of our sales brief and everyone we encountered after this kept saying 'you should have been told in your initial sales brief'. This carried on for months, and though there were aspects out of our control which held up the process, when I contacted Customer service to change my contact details due to loosing access to my primary email account they continued ringing asking if I had received their emails?Fast forward 6 months, our system has finally been installed after multiple complaints about their communication, rogue inspectors and now the system is up and running - our power bill has doubled?I've asked for multiple follow ups and support which has fallen on deaf ears. I even withheld final payment until someone contacted me and was threatened with the bill being forwarded to a collection agency.We don't even know if the system is working because we never received instructions on how to use the system. We have had multiple friends and our neighbours ask us about our experience and contact details of the company because they trust our recommendations and know we would never purchase something that we didn't thoroughly research. We have told them to look elsewhere.

I'm happy to recommend Lightforce. Andy organised my quote and was a real professional answering all my questions - quickly and thoroughly. Installer John was friendly and helpful. While it took longer than any of us hoped to have the system certified, communication was good and I knew what was happening. Now the system is up and running it has exceeded my expectations - my power costs have plummeted, albeit this is the height of summer. The system is doing what was promised and I'm enjoying the savings.

Disappointing in that little in the initial sales pitch turned out to be true. Aspects of the installation were so sub-standard that different installers had to come out to rectify by reinstalling. We were led to believe during the sales pitch that Lightforce had a Grid power supply offer for Lightforce Solar owners, but found out after we had signed up that this was 'not in our area' (which wasn't disclosed prior). We were also told that Lightforce would be constantly 'monitoring' our system and feeding back over time to ensure our system was fully optimised - again, after 6 months we have heard nothing from them. The operating system itself, the accompanying mobile apps, and operating procedures for it are complicated and very little help, onboarding, or instruction was offered (we still have no idea if we our system is operating optimally or not?). Lightforce claim to be a premium service (and charge that way), but the actual delivery and customer experience has fallen a long way short. Hence it would be very difficult to recommend them to others.

While our Solar is now up and running and working fairly well - we have had significant issues leading up to this point that cannot be ignored.During the installation of the solar panels at the beginning of Feb (02/02) one of their employees accidentally put a hole in our ceiling. This was only fixed yesterday (10/05) after significant hassling from our end. This is not good enough and Lightforce clearly didn't care enough to put a rush on this.We also had to have Lightforce come back to correct an issue with the solar installation as there was issue that was picked up by the electrician who came through to sign off on this.Overall, the aftercare provided by Lightforce has been appalling to borderline non-existent. We had to continue to hassle them to get any action done. I would not recommend going here and highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Dan from Lightforce prepared an excellent presentation - showing the system plan (how the panels would fit on the roof), the expected kW output (across the months of the year), and the projected cost savings. Our meeting was conducted via a video link and he seemed to think of everything.Very impressive preparation and commitment to ensuring a great outcome for the customer. I recommend Lightforce highly, for both people who know what they want (as I thought I did), but also for people who need to learn how it works

What an overall great experience - Jake your sales contact was on point, knowledgeable and believable. Your admin staff kept us updated at every stage. Then you topped it off with your Hamilton installation crew, very proficient, respectful and professional. Would fully recommend to anyone considering solar. Delivered on all promises and couldn't be happier - thank you.

Lightforce installed an 18 solar panel and battery system at our home in February 2023. Lightforce were very easy to deal with, good communication, did everything when they said they would, in fact installation was ahead of schedule. The installation team of Jamie and crew performed a neat and aesthetically pleasing install, patiently answering all my layman's questions.A couple of weeks after the install we lost grid power due to Auckland's storms. Grid power was on and off for a week or so, having the battery literarily kept the lights on.CheersRodger

Great sales team who explained everything clearly with options to suit our budget.Perfect install. Black on black on black. Everything lined up perfectly. Really friendly installers who showed pride in their work. Could not be happier.
