Boulder Burgers was our last dine iWe experienced as many of the menus from the eateries in town but they were identical like they were owned by the same owners. we had a chicken grilled burger and a vege alternative. We got both burgers with GF buns thinking they weren’t going to be the dry undermixed type but unfortunately they were. Vege burger was under cooked and the chicken was ok just both were just average however.

Drove from culverden to get a delicious burger and checked Google and it saying it is open yay! To find out there is a sign saying open at 4pm. Cmon at least put it on the website saying open at 4pm not angry just disappointed because im so hungry lol

Absolutely 100% recommend these guys! absolutely amazing food and nice and friendly couple had to go back both nights we stayed in Hanmer Springs ❤️

Hard to find good burgers but these were great we tried a chicken and a beef they were happy to take out a few things we didn't like and fries were great.great friendly service will be back again to try the sundaes probably tomorrow

Extremely disappointing experience. We called through our order ahead of time so it would be ready when we arrived. We called at 5.23pm and were quoted 40 minutes. We arrived at 6pm to pay and wait the last couple of minutes for our meal to be told the wait was another 20 minutes. I was shocked as that would make an hours wait. Unfortunately the service was very poor and it in fact did take the 20 minutes, once they worked out what was going on. If I had been told the wait would be an hour on the phone when I ordered I would not have continued with our order. It was already a push waiting 40 minutes until 6pm for our meal for our 2 year old to then discover the additional 20 minutes bringing it to an hours wait was incredibly frustrating and barely an apology given. No one seemed to look like they knew what was going on and the service and wait was not worth it for the $90 we paid for some burgers and fries. Meal was alright ish but ultimately not worth the time or money. Have visited 3 previous times in the last year however won’t be rushing back sadly.

Came to Boulder Burgers for dinner on a Saturday night.Diner aesthetic was really cool.Got myself a Boulder Blue burger with fries and a soda.Boulder Blue burger was really good, steak in the burger was perfectly cooked, veges in the burger were fresh and the blue cheese really made the taste of the steak pop.Well cooked and seasoned fries.Was a small wait for our food, but given it was a Saturday night, the wait was very acceptable.Would definitely return here, worth the trip off Hanmer's main street to come here.

Had takeaway on Easter weekend, the restaurant was really busy and waited for nearly half hr. Ordered NZ lamb, Dog puppet, baby beef and big shoulder. Lamb was juicy and tasty, love the sauce. Baby beef was good but a bit dry.

Absolute top-notch service. Food was great too - can highly recommend the Carnivore. Atmosphere was a little quiet being off the main drag, but was made up for by the American Diner aesthetic. You won't be disappointed. My vegetarian friend tried the Herbivore and was able to confirm it was fantastic. Will absolutely be back for round 2!
