Pane e Vino
Our waiter was friendly and eccentric and the food was delicious! The atmosphere was cosy and warm. Had an unfortunate seat that put me eye level with the headlights of all the cars at the intersection but a fantastic experience regardless :-)

The food was average. The tiramisu was nice but the chocolate dessert was so-so. No mocktail drinks. Toilet was clean.

Little Italy in the heart of Auckland. Staff were awesome.Small menu but enough choices to suit everyone. Home made pasta n Breads. Would definetly reccommend visiting.Need to book as very busy.

Cozy interior but noisy.The man who looks like the owner is kind and busy staff.Pasta and pizza are all delicious. I really enjoyed the meal.Especially, Ragu is the best!

The food is decidedly 100% average. THE PASTA: plain and flavourless, ANY RED SAUCES: tasted like Watties, THE BREAD: dry, very dry, heading toward stale, THE PIZZA: it existed, THE CAPRESE: too much rocket, not enough basil, THE ARANCINI: too dry, THE MUSHROOM & TRUFFLE RAVIOLI: this was actually quite good - we ended up dipping every other dish in that. We're not angry about spending the money because we didn't come for the food, we came for the BYO and we sure BYO'd. We were loud & rowdy and Pain e Vinonono didn't seem to mind too much. Which is great. We got what we wanted. But drunk people can still taste food. ***fyi the acoustics upstairs are terrible. And as you know, we love our acoustics. Highly recommend they get some soft surfaces, cushions or plants.

Found this place at the beginning of the year when I came with my best friend and have come back 4 times since. Such beautiful food always go for the gnocchi pancetta it is so divine. The host and staff are lovely and always ensure that we have enjoyed our meal. Smaller portions for the pasta but it is so filling! Their bruschetta was the first time I ever enjoyed eating tomato like that.Will keep coming back!

The three stars is for the building it’s located in. The staff kept rushing us to order. We ordered drinks but entrees turned up before our drinks & had to follow up a few times for them. It was a busy night and it definitely showed.The calamari was good. The bruschetta was alright. The gnocchi Ragu was a bit meh. The gnocchi had a weird consistency & the Ragu was missing that meaty goodness.I ordered an espresso martini which was more espresso less martini. And having to pay for extra Parmesan basically was the end of a disappointing experience.

Delicious food, well presented, tasty.Good selection of beverage.Great service, friendly staff.Pane e Vino is prepared to accommodate special diets.Fresh salads, good quality cheese.Giorgio, manager, is very polite and ready to assist you.Clean premises. Clean bathroom.
