Finally got to go to a Concert and Country one at that…due to my Autism and ADHD and other mental health disorders….places can be scary and anxiety inducing if there’s too many people and looks of disdain and contempt. But thankful my sis and best mate, Saraya Hunt - and her Whanau and mates, look after me well and make sure I’m good and well and feeling safe.I love all the instruments, all the brave people who got up and sing in front of the biiiiiiiiiiig crowd of ppl in hall, the brace people who play the cool instruments up on stage and stand in the centre of attention with the lights on them (but thankful for the darkness cos me eyes are sensitive to all lights and it burns and starts making me cry).I love the people I meet that night who answer my questions with patience and tell me instructions how to work the water thing to make the pink drink of sweetness and energy giving to me (cos if no sugar in Zhanah’s body…mood go low and not good thinking but if sugar levels at good rate and high, mood levels keep up and more ideas spill out in many art forms).Thank you for the people I meet there, the people and friends to the sis’s family (the Hunt Whanau) and the people whom smile and joke and accept me (my broken soul and heart and weird behaviour)….one thing though, when I wear me red riding hood up….it’s to help lessen my anxiety and racing criticism my internal thoughts give me about my physical appearance so maybe please be kind next time and understand the reason behind the raised hoodie (it’s my way of hiding my broken smiles and humour and also the tears I do and stuff every days and night since coming back to Otago from Christchurch)
