So good to have a choice of something other than radiata! We've bought mac here for various projects around the garden, redwood for a beehive and also had beautiful large bookshelves made in E. regnans. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate that the timber is locally milled and that some of it is coming from the owner's own sustainably-managed forest block. Highly recommended. Great resource for locals but I understand they ship around NZ.

We had a bespoke hearth for our double sided gas fire created by MacBlack and could not be happier with the result. Sustainable hardwood timber used to make a wonderful feature in our house at a very reasonable price.

We just had a custom mantle piece made by macblack and couldn't be happier with the service and the workmanship. Their communication was quick and helpful and the final product looks amazing. Will definitely recommend them to my friends.

We took a risk and commissioned MacBlack to make a dining table, based on a google picture of one they'd done before. AND WOW! They really came through for us - it's so beautiful - well proportioned and made, using the wood colouring to it's full potential. Their customer service was also spot on - friendly clear communication, helpful and responsive to what we needed. We will be back :)
