Not a good shuttle option for the Tongariro crossing. First, you don't get to park in the secured car park but will have to park on the side of Ketetahi road (which is known for car jacking). Second, even though the parking is worse, the Tongariro expeditions shuttle is NOT cheaper but costs the same as the shuttle provider offering secure parking. If you book with them anyway, I recommend paying close attention to the schedule: Most of our group had understood from the confirmation email that pick up would be at 7 am with check in 15min earlier. The shuttle arrived at 7.20 with the driver insisting that the scheduled departure time was 7.30.

*red flags all over!* When you want to do something fun, your first thought here is to go around and book a shuttle bus to do so. Beware! If you do so, avoid this service from these providers, because you will not get around! In fact, you'll be left standing in the rain at the other side of the road with nowhere to go, and a very unfriendly response from their side. They gaslight you into thinking its your fault, while they do not specify where to go and wont refund your money! Make sure to avoid tongariro at all costs, if you do want to have a fun time! They're not worth your time, your money or your effort, and are just a greedy company that tricks good minded people. Red flags all over! Tongariwrong

This company is a scam. They’ll tell you to stay somewhere and then conveniently email you AFTER you can’t cancel and say “oh we don’t pick up there.” If you want to do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing do NOT book with this company. They’ll steal your money and not pick you up. They have more excuses than a wh*re in church.

Booked a hotel in National Park Village after confirming over phone they picked up there. The day before they emailed us to let us know we had to find our own way to the park n ride because they didn’t pick up in that town despite what they told us. We wouldn’t have ever booked had they been honest from the start. Refused a refund but the bank reversed the charges. Total scam. The 3 of us hired another company to take us.

Awesome shuttle service! They accepted our last-minute booking the day before, and got in contact via email right away. They were right on time and provided lots of useful information about the Tongariro Crossing hike. Highly recommend :)

Everything went well! Bus was perfect on time (we booked the 6:30 AM bus) and the bus arrived around 6:20 AM. Just be careful: check the pick-up location in the confirmation email! This is 400m west of the 'Tongariro shuttle car park' and is at the beginning of the Ketetahi Track (see picture). Driver was friendly and in a good mood. Nice to start the day like this!
