Leaps and Bounds Montessori

Both of my children have attended Leaps and Bounds, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff are truly exceptional and have created a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children.One of the things that stands out to me is the emphasis on independence and self-directed learning. The Montessori philosophy encourages children to explore and learn at their own pace, and the teachers have really embraced this approach. They provide a wide range of activities and materials for the children to choose from, allowing them to follow their own interests and develop their skills in a way that feels natural to them.The classrooms are also beautifully organised and well-equipped. The materials are carefully chosen to promote different areas of development, such as fine motor skills, language, and math. It's amazing to see how engaged and focused the children are when they're working with these materials.Another aspect that I appreciate is the strong sense of community. The teachers regularly communicate with parents and provide updates on their child's progress. They also organise events and activities that involve both the children and their families, which helps to create a supportive and inclusive environment.Overall, I highly recommend this Montessori. The staff are dedicated and passionate about their work, and it's clear that they truly care about the well-being and development of each child. My children have thrived in this environment and I feel confident knowing that they are moving onto school with a life long love for learning

Absolutely love this centre and their teachers. My child goes to Leaps and he has grown so much. I am so glad that he has such an amazing group of teachers to support him and our family.

Amazing centre. My son is always happy to attend and has formed an amazing relationship with the staff. He feels at home here and is always exited at drop off time. Excellent communication from the staff who are always happy to have a quick chat. I always recommend this preschool to any of my friends and family who may be looking.

Very manipulative, cunning, and discriminative staff. Don't take responsibility of their own actions and blames us for the frustration they have caused in the first place.Probably think twice before you send a child to somewhere that doesn't feel accountability is important.

Leaps and bounds is a fantastic early childhood education centre .. staff are highly skilled in their theory of teaching which provided my daughter with a great foundation for her life long learning . Caring and nurturing ,alongside being able to provide quality education was important for me , and leaps andBounds exceeded my expectations in doing this . The staff get to know each child personally and work on growing the child in their interests and understanding of the world . Communication with whanau is fantastic and any challenges I had with my child were always listened to by staff who also invested in helping my child overcome these . The dailyLife skills and setting a growth mindset for my daughter made transitioning to school very easy .

Absolutely amazing supportive staff!We had an issue with our son not being interested in eating his fruit and after mentioning this, one of the staff would go out of her way to encourage him to try new and different fruits and to try different ways to eat them. I can not explain how thankful we were with this extra help!Lovely centre with outstandingly friendly management and owner!I will always recommend Leaps and Bounds to all my friends with young children!

Absolutely loved sending my precious wee girl to Leaps and Bounds! The team were so loving and incredible and were like a team of other parents to my baby! Always welcoming, nurtuing and positive. My daughter loves these people as family! A healthy, warm and inviting - everything that you want an early learning environment to be! My munchkin went off to school last term FULLY PREPARED and earger to continue her learning journey with the best group of ECE staff from L&B's behind her.

Both our girls have had the happiest of times at Leaps and Bounds, our youngest couldn't wait to go and join her big sister there. Always hard to hand over your kids for the first time to any preschool but the staff at Leaps are so caring, informative and friendly they made the transition so comfortable for our kids and for us as parents! Highly recommended.

Love Leaps and Bounds Rangiora!My daughter had previously attended another preschool and had some issues and when I moved her to Leaps and bounds, I found drop off was so much smoother and she felt welcome and her wellbeing was nurtured everyday all day.Before leaps and bounds she couldn’t write/spell her name and wasn’t ready for the next stage of school, but the staff helped her learn these simple tasks in the short time she was there and supported her in learning how to take care of herself and her belongings, which means she was able to take care of her belongings at school.Not only was My daughters wellbeing nurtured mine was as well. There were times when the mornings was average and drop off wasn’t pretty and tears were flowing and the staff had their arms open wide and coffees poured!Because of this i decided to join the team later as a reliever teacher, helping the staff have their well deserved breaks and also learning a lot from the teachers! I was always welcomed and treated as part of the team even if I was only there for one day a week or 1 hour of a day or even the entire week. Never did I feel unwelcome or not part of the team!I highly recommend this preschool to any family at any stage of their child’s learning!But also highly recommend anyone looking for a job as a preschool teacher or just a reliever as you will love the team and the experience that the preschool provides!!
