Great company, easy to use and they managed to get a builder out within 2 hours of me confirming it. The report was prompt and really extensive. Thank you for everything, the office manager is super responsive and helpful.

I used HPPI for a building inspection of a new build, my first home. They were very quick, lovely to deal with, responsive, thorough, and they were forgiving of any faults on our end such as an issue with site access. I also found the resulting report very easy to understand, and their process throughout was entirely transparent. 10/10 would recommend!

Our first house, all the nerves and questions about; “What to do and what to do” + doing a Meth Test. I think that I went back and forth emailing Katie at least 10 times, and she was replying in a professional and friendly way, explaining all the details involved. Also she even sent me an email on a Saturday; to ensure that the service was going according with the deadline that we had!Excellent service of passionate people doing great stuff, totally recommend them !!!

I engaged Joel Zwart (owner) from HPPI to do a weathertightness inspection. The quality of analysis and report would set new benchmarks for shoddy work. For $700 plus GST one would expect a professional report with list of defects, classifications of the severity, repairs or improvements needed in the short to medium, and long term. However, I was provided a report with just photos after photos and a two line description for some defects. Enough said, even a primary school student with a moisture reading meter would have done a far better job at inspecting and preparing a report. MOREOVER BANKS DID NOT ACCEPT HIS REPORT. Upon asking him to refund the payment he refused to do so. Looking back they sent an invoice a week before even undertaking an inspection! Red flag! Decide for yourself whether you want to do business with HPPI or engage them for your biggest investment. I would give a zero star if I could..

HPPI would be my first recommendation to anyone asking for a good building inspection.The speed in which they booked in the inspection and delivered the report was surpassed only by the quality and the level of detail it contained.I've ordered a few building reports and this was the most thorough I have ever seen. Loaded with detail and photographs and nothing overlooked.On top of this everyone I dealt with was pleasant and responsive, from the initial quote through to delivery of the report.I will contact HPPI whenever I need an inspection done.

We recently engaged HPPI Ltd. for a builders' report on a house, which we have since gone on to purchase. The communication and customer support was fast, friendly, and very clear.The inspection was arranged quickly - as we exited lockdown no less - which is a real testament to the team. The entire process was unbelievably easy from start to finish.The contents of the inspection report is also incredibly thorough and professional, while also easy to understand for a layman like myself.I will 100% recommend HPPI Ltd. to anyone looking for an organisation to carry out a building inspection.

Do not use this service. They did not identify failed timber in a housing inspection and when I raised the issue the owner refused to even come look at the property and the damage in question to even have a discussion about the issue they missed. They engaged in denial and deflection. The fact that they would not come to the property to review the fault and discuss in persona was utterly unprofessional.
