The Turf and One Good Horse Parklands
I travelled 30min with my kids to go there for supper. Arrived, restaurant was empty! Plenty of tables but the waitress says they are fully booked for 430pm but it was 5pm and empty. No reserve signs , family walks in after us and gets seated. Not booked. Not sure if I was the wrong skin colour ,felt that way. Very upsetting for the kids.

My son had a bad fall and knocked his teeth out on the playground the staff were not helpful at all they were more interested in cleaning the slide then getting us a first aid kit they didn't offer ice or anything and his mouth was pouring out with blood I also had other children with me so some help would of been appreciated... I made a complaint and never heard anything back!The staff there are very rude in general definitely the lady that works at the one good horse can't remember what her name.The pub on the other side is good tho! But I don't go to the restaurant anymore due to the terrible service even after the incident with my son I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt but she was so rude to all of us when we were in there for a kids bday lunch. Take your money elsewhere.

It was quite busy so service was a bit slow but we chatted away the time and enjoyed the meals.Six adults and three young ones.Now I love my Sticky Date puddings. This one was the biggest AND the BEST i have had. Price good too.

Good pub food in the One Good Horse. Took a while to get used to the old leather sadle smell. Pizza was tasty with a thin crust. One of the few places with a playground for children to play in.

Had the Thursday rib special. The meat was dry and the flavour was mainly cinnamon. Not great. Playground for the children was great though.

The Turf and One Good Horse Parklands
This place was a great place to visit for families and large groups .Has a large play area inside.We were a large group so had a little wait for our meals.They arrived soon after I went and asked if we could have the children's meals brought out.I had Seafood Chowder. It was delicious. My son couldn't even finish his meal of Pork Ribs.The only thing I would like to mention. It would of been nice to be offered more drinks while having our meal.

The Turf and One Good Horse Parklands
Had a birthday dinner for my 8 year old and her friends. It was very understaffed, but the staff did their absolute best to make it go smoothly. Great pub grub, including kids menu, fantastic play area for kids, and they worked around our extra requests such as dairy free desserts.
