Beautiful gallery filled with many wonderful pieces.At first I thought the anti vaccine literature was some sort of ironic statement about the sad state of current affairsBut sadly no. Apparently someone involved with Coolchange gallery has been drinking from the poisoned well.

Fantastic shop great staff with Teak furniture , Statues of all types Paintings , beautiful lacquered boxes and wall hangings , and exotic house furnishings from Asia and much more

You only have to read a couple of responses to realise this owner is a complete ***** but he also seems to think his home based ‘research’ allows him to override our health system and put public at risk. And to top it off he passes his messaging off as official by pirating MOH logos. He wasn’t interested in a conversation about it so have reported the business to the relevant authorities. I love Mapua Wharf but urge folk to choose wisely where to spend your $UPDATE FOLLOWING OWNER RESPONSE: freedom of speech is fine. Misusing official logos and icons to pass your misinformation off as fact is definitely not fine. And refusal to wear masks is frankly irresponsible ….. and illegal. That’s my complaint.ps - your reply just proved me right so thanks for that.

My husband and I have enjoyed our experience in Mapua many times over the years and have offened thougth would be great to have a opportunity to take our kids here sometime. Well the opportunity came this weekend, aside from cold weather still lovely place to visit. As we are family that enjoys art thought would look through COOL CHANGE GALLERY. Now first impression is everything I had my nearly two year old with me we STEPPED into my grandson noticed three wooden dogs three different sizes to which he said puppy coming through door following us was obviously the owner who abruptly said hey don't let that kid touch that dog the are expensive CONTROL YOUR KID".What a waste of talent on such a rude individual.You actually represent a beautiful country tourists and New Zealanders a like don't need this sort of attitude. If you don't like visitors to your shop get out of retail.DISAPPOINTEDGLENDA"

Such a cool art gallery! I want all the stuff here. Is there such a thing as too much great stuff in one shop !

Purchased a lovely teak stool and wanted another to match (last one in store). The lovely shop assistant went above and beyond to organise getting me another. She phoned the owner who then found another stool in storage and drove to the gallery straight away for me! While we waited the lady gave my toddler daughter a key ring to play with and chatted to us, and gave my dog who was tied up outside, a bowl of water!Very happyProducts are great quality and people are too
