Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. Food was tasty and lots to choose from. Really enjoyed our evening. Highly recommend!

Was the worst butter chicken we've ever had. Too sweet. Likened it to chicken in tomato sauce. Not authentic tasting at all. Meals took over an hour to arrive and it wasn't that busy. Bathrooms were dirty too.

We came to Village India several time before the pandemic, then could not come to NZ for almost 3 years.We’re back and after arriving from the US today—of course we went to Village India! Tonight we tried lamb pasanda and the mushroom and Eggplant curry.Both were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Ordered two curries that were both really tasty and decent size portions. We had the naan and a rice too which paired really well. The wine and beers were great too, we would definitely recommend.

The food is good as I requested but not for the price. Its expensive for the quantity of food. The customer service is not really satisfied. The staff had grampy face.I went on Queen's birthday there was a surcharge of 10% which displayed in the counter table. I didnt realise until i wentover to pay.There is only inside seats and environment is nice with music and lights.

Had an excellent lunch here (2 persons, 34 nzd, Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Eggplant Musheoom curry with rice and 2x Garlic Naan, no drinks) middle of feb'20. Very friendly staff and excellent food, reocmmended!

We ordered takeaway from Village India, and were moderately disappointed. We phoned in, and were told the wait for the food would be 30 minutes, but it was actually 1.25 hours, so we ended up sitting in the restaurant for a long time waiting. The food was pretty good, particularly the aloo gobi.I found it expensive, over 120$ for four dishes and a few naan. In spite of the good food the experience has spoiled our feeling - overall I think there are better Indian Restaurants in Blenhiem.

This was our first Indian experience in New Zealand and we were not disappointed! Everything from the starters to the mains to the dessert were incredible! My girlfriend and I were very pleased, we’d highly recommend the mixed plater and the chefs specialties for mains such as Methi Lamb and Achaari Lamb! Will be back!
