Chris is committed to looking after our teeth. And is honest as the sun rises each day! Its not always what I want to hear. But I follow his advice. And he takes care of the rest. And I have seen the results. I thought sensitive gums was something I had. But after a couple years with Chris, my gums are not anywhere near as sensitive. Brilliant!

Very kind and helpful from the beginning. Rebecca answered al my questions on the phone and was able to schedule an appointment for me the next day. The dentist did a great job as well, I didn’t feel a thing and he really took his time to make me feel more comfortable!

Anna, the practice manager was very accommodating, she assisted us on booking the best schedule that best suites our time. Her pre and post customer service was excellent. The clinic was very clean and organized. Dr. Chris was very professional and knowledgeable with regards to his practice.

I came here with my partner late 2022, and we had a very good experience. Chris was brilliant at giving us both targeted feedback of things to be mindful for in brushing our teeth and flossing. It was a very transparent process where he carefully explained his reasoning and methods, and outlined the proceedings for future care clearly. Unfortunately my partner and I have both moved to Christchurch as we would love to return.

I had the worst experience here with Chris. Don't waste your money here. My went for cleaning and check up. Took my x-ray with out taking my permission and then added to the bill. He cleaned only one side and said sorry 30 mins are up you will have to come again and pay again. I left with stains just as they were before. He commented on my jaw as though it was the worst set he had ever seen just to get more business and gave me a quotation of $2500 to come back to him. Thank God I didn't go back - went to Fono dental and Dr. Mariam fixed everything for half the price and five times better cleaning, capping and precision.Reply - to your reply - I am writing only because I am able to access the matter and compare services now that dental issues have been fixed. Dentist at your clinic told me that I had to surgically remove wisdom tooth & molar right next to each other because he couldn't reach the cavity on the molar. This clearly I thought was not correct as it reduces ability to chew on one side, So I recommended to fill the cavity after the wisdom tooth was removed which will be easier to reach the cavity instead of taking the whole tooth out for no reason. He agreed and gave me below quote which does not include the 2 tooth surgeries which he suggested ($1000-1600). Dentist said he needed to do an x-ray, I thought it would be included but clearly it was not. Anyway, I really don't want any refund or any apology, I am just glad I didn't go for any of those recommendations

I have been now with Herne Bay Dental for 5 years. I came over from another dentist who always seemed to give me fillings. Chris tidied things up and repaired some of the previous bad workmanship and I haven't had a filling since. He is a quality dentist and I travel quite far to keep my appointments with Herne Bay Dental.

Chris is a great Dentist. He is excellent at explaining what treatment is required before beginning and provides cost estimates which are very accurate.I am extremely pleased with my treatment plan, and highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a great dentist. Anna who is the Practice Manager is also great to deal with. My rating is 5/5. Thank you.

I don’t believe in Perfect scores but Chris and his crew get a perfect score from me for these reasons which are my in order of Importance HONESTY ,COURTESY,PRICE,PROFESSIONALISM AND GENRALLY PAINLESS PRODECURES .Well done Chris a real Gentleman

The most trusting and gentle dentist. Reasonably priced and completely transparent. Rare to find in a dentist and highly recommend them. For someone who is really anxious going to the dentist, I have tried quite a few places before, never felt comfortable with any dentists until now. They are fabulous!
