A tiny makerspace that is run with helpful part-time staff and always has interesting things being made by members and the public too. Very restricted by its physical size and can easily get overcrowded.

The volunteer staff are very helpful and got our Christmas ornament prototypes sorted on our first visit. We used the laser cutter and some plywood which they were able to supply on-site.My son wants to go back and use the 3D printers. Definitely a fun night for the family.

A very supportive community within a relaxed and social environment. Also a very wide range of interests and skills, so there is normally someone who knows how to help or steer you in the right direction if you have a project you want to get started on.

The TapLab Makerspace people are friendly and helpful. They will support you in making use of the equipment and will demonstrate the basics of how to do things on each of the themed nights. On Monday there is Cosplay. Tuesday there is open night. Wednesday there is Hack N Snack. (Electronics & robotics) Friday there is Model Makers ShelterThey have equipment ranging from 3D printers to a vinyl cutter & a heat press to transfer screen printing onto clothing.Check out the website for details.
