A new library in Birkenhead, the atmosphere is so warm and calm, bright and shine. A lots of space for you to sit down and relax. Computers free to use are always available. Children area for music and movement. It even has an balcony with covered outside area.

staff are so helpful Really lovely environment to take time out away from the busy rush of normal life the library provides many activities for the children throughout the year but especially in the school holidays has a large meeting room which often Toastmasters and other community groups gather to learn about different skills The Birkenhead library always has something going on and joins in with celebrations which happen throughout the year such as Matariki king’s birthday and friendly

Good friendly service. Central location with a view looking out to the water. Has full range of books to entertain families of all ages. Free council Wi-Fi and plenty power points on L1 to charge up your devices. Kids area has a balcony area which is great on a nice day. Downstairs also has extended spaces for holding various event and actitivities. Worthy a visit if you are not a local. There are soooo many good eaterie bakeries nearby and free street parking nearby. Walking distance to main bus stops in the Town Centre.

A peaceful and serene reading atmosphere. It's nice and quiet there, allowing you to be immersed into your own world of reading. There are a wide range of books, and they're super easy to check out. You can keep the books for quite a while, which is nice, and the staff are quite friendly.It's one of the most spacious libraries I've seen, with free Wifi and spaces for people who need a quiet place to work.The only thing I'd change are the actual content in the books. Yes, there are a wide range in many different languages, but most of the popular books like Harry Potter have been checked out.

Used one of their rooms for a club AGM of 15 pax. Proved ideal for us. Helpful team. Nice modern bldg. Great community asset. Carpark under a little tricky to find, but has accessible lift and parking.

This is one of my favourite places outside of my own home. It's beautiful, it's welcoming, it's filled with books and the librarians are amazing.

The most incredible views for a library!Makes computer work so much more enjoyable.A great place to work when you need a change of scenery from your house.Very clean, spacious, light and modern.Would certainly return.

I just had to write and mention the wonderful staff at the library. It was my first time there printing and scanning some files. Nothing was to hard for them and their pleasant demeanor and help was really appreciated. Excellent service is hard to find now.
