Had to get out of campground as it flooded. Very relieved to decamp to a safe carpark. As it was weekend we didn't see anyone but many thanks to the club for being a safe haven for NZMCA travellers.

Beautiful old historic building, have pool, darts, billards, housie, euchre, bowls nights, Wednesday evening meals. Well stocked bar. Family friendly and also an overnight park up with great views to the ranges.. worth a visit.

If you like an old fashioned country town incorporated club, you will love this un-upgraded piece of history, with it's comfortable surroundings and stained glass decoration. While some features could do with being modernized like cold storage in the bar, it's charms outweigh the lack of newer amenities.

Quiet on a Friday bar opens at 5 pm very friendly crew Wedsnesday main club great for parking carvans only problem no SPEIGHTS .President Honi good fellow
