Baywatch Restaurant & Bar
Had a booking for 7pm. Took an hour and a half to bring out 3 main meals (no entrees). They were busy with some big tables so was patient! Then was told the kitchen was closed and cannot serve us desserts after we had already been given the dessert menu to look at. This was all while another front of house lady took the dessert orders for a larger table outside… for a local bringing a family member out for dinner was appalling. Disappointing night…

Food is good from basic burgers and fish & chips to more advanced calamari (although the Buffalo Wings were too spicy). No questions asked. The place itself, however, is a bit of a mixed bag very much depending on what you are looking for. As a wedding venue it's a slam dunk 5 out of 5! The hall itself is nice and big enough to accommodate a good size wedding reception. The restaurant adjoining the hall offers extra room for life band and dancing guests and has a nice bar for refreshments of all kinds. The covered verandah extends the venue and charmes the guests with nice beach atmosphere. For those who want to tuck their feet into the sand just have to cross the quiet back street and will be blown away by this beautiful beach.During daytime, however, the restaurant is on the inside as appealing as a food hall where noise is echoing loudly. If you manage to grab a seat outside you have to be lucky to catch a glimpse of the beach pass the parked cars. 3 out of 5.

$38 for an entree of mussels, no flavour, served poorly.Burnt gravy. Excellent scallops and calamari. Salad and chips with the scotch would have been better than the vegetables.Excellent service.

Food (Burger) was OK but by the time I got it it was cold. Service was shocking. Told they would come to the table and serve us(drinks)we never saw them. Restaurant open until 8 but from about 7 on a Friday night it was pizza and chips. Family with 2 kids waited over an hour for pizza while table of 4 left before their meal arrived. Others waited well over an hour but most gave up. Never rated this poorly, no real redeeming features and we were in-house guests.

As a hotel guest being told that I cannot sit down to order food because they are too busy with 2 of 6 tables with people at them not impressed at all can’t comment on food quality cause they would supply any very disappointed as there is not much other selection in the area! Only other comment is the decor looks like an office not a restaurant!

Took an hour for the servers to bring out our meals, only half of it was delivered - as I’m typing this I am still currently waiting for the remainder of our meals. The food that did come out was cold, avocado had gone off and tasted off. Crossiant was cold. Very slow kitchen

Sad place, ordered a pizza and staff came out to ask some options about it. 30 Mins later, no pizza, it hadent even been started.Tables and foor had crumbs and just not cleaned from previous guests.The sprite order took 10 mins and only came with a few cubes of ice.When getting a refund because didn't want the pizza the staff are just giggling about missing the order.No leadership over there, the managers and owners should be embarrassed

Delicious calamari. Dish of the night. 2 of us had the ribs which were a sizable portion and made for a nice lunch for me next day. Yummy salmon pizza. Maybe slightly understaffed, which was more noticeable as more diners arrived,

Dinner was a really nice tonight. We have been before and didn't really think much of it, so well done guys for proving my hubby wrong! Service was great to and I've even added a pic of the beautiful sunset, that I sneeked out between courses and took. Thanks Taipa Beach Resort we would definitely recommend. Also special shout out to mother nature. You are truly stunning
