The Towers on the Park

Really good as we were at a conference across the road. Good for what we wanted. Could do with a safety rail in the shower which was very low at its fullest extent.

Great place to stay in Christchurch. Same side of the city as the train station and airport. Pleasant walk across the park to town. Good restaurants just a block away.

A great place to stay by the Park. Rooms are in great condition. Only small issue is no aircon so hot in summer and no microwave. Apart from that well furnished and spacious.

At $170 a night I expected a little more.No smart tv (just regular old technology)No usb ports in wallNo balcony etc.Very mid

I had trouble with payment through booking.com and Towers on the park were terrible at their handling and gave me no time to ammend. Upon arrival I was told I would be charged $150 (on top of room price) which I had no idea. The receptionist then told me she would refund the money for my room as she couldn't be bothered dealing with it". Hopefully the room is better than the service. If it was my hotel I'd fire the lady"

Nice room clean and tidy.Ample parking.Only issue or question is why have a room that sleeps 3 yet only had two towels. Two cups two forks two knives..you get my point.

Editing to add that this is clearly still an issue and if you have negative feedback they don't wanna know you. Have now changed review to one star overall as they clearly don't take on the info given in these reviews if you're not complimenting them. Don't waste your time, book the hotel literally across the road, it looked MUCH, MUCH BETTER.Just as an FYI this place DOES have a 'bond', they still haven't bothered to update their website at all since I was caught out by this in October and it would seem that I'm not the only person this has happened to. At no point during the booking process, are you made aware that there is a bond, when booking it tells you that your total is the price for the two rooms and that's it, paid $250 for 2 nights for wedding accommodation, just to get in to check in and be told that there's a $150 bond, money of which I did not have and had i known about this charge, would have booked somewhere else.

Friendly receptionist, breakfast bland. Had no hot water the second night on arriving home. Took 20 minutes to get on call manager who was very dismissive and said we had to wait until morning.Very noisy at night with traffic.Understand these things happen but her attitude was appalling.Wouldn’t recommend

Spacious rooms. Spa bath was great. Very good location handy to shops and restaurants and right beside Hagley Park

Rooms were lovely, staff cleaned the rooms well. Bad wifi and in a beautiful location. Would recommend.
