Probase Engineering
Probase are a great team to deal with, helpful, efficient, and most of all practical. Produced the necessary documents in a timely manner allowing us to kick on with the project.

Probase Engineering
I do not recommend Probase Engineering at all. Their soil testing done by James Harper was done by hand with a hand auger , the dept that Probase recommended for our poles was 3 meters and their hand auger soil testing reached less that 2 m. At a Depth of 2m we discovered volcanic rock , when calling Probase back onto site they refused to have any responsibility for their error of not giving my contractors the soil testing information to the depth they recommended. If you are hiring probase make sure they test to the required depth with a machine and good luck , these guys are cowboys

I contacted Probase Engineering to undertake SW Management Report and Geotech Report for a Pauanui based project. It was last minute, and they turned both reports around within 7 days which I didn’t think possible these days. Great communication, friendly to deal with and competitive fees. Will recommend to future clients going forward.

Our Architectural studio often work with James & his team at Probase for projects in the Waikato that require Engineering. They are specialists in the area for SW, WW, Geotechnical & Structural Designs.They are not only competitive in terms of cost (for our clients) but their turnaround times are the outstanding. All of the Probase team we have worked with to date are extremely communicative from discussing timeframes to woking through items that arise on-site that require a practical engineering approach.I would highly recommend Probase for any Engineering works you require in the Waikato + wider Waikato region (Matamata, etc).

We use Probase on all our projects and find them the best to deal with. They are easy to get hold of with good communication. They turn up when you need them so nothing gets held up on site. They turnaround plans and designs with great timeframes. Cant recommend them enough.
