I've tried a number of bakeries for that great Kiwi Pie experience when you come back home to the 'Green Green Grass of Home,' and you just want a really good pie??...well, this is the place for me!!!Popular. Always busy with people coming in and out. Bakery on the corner main road just before you head up the hill to Wainuiomata so traffic is busy but managed to get parking on both sides of main road and side road.A variety of fresh, tasty, delicious food. Hot drinks too. It's my number one go-to-Bakery in the area.Love the back story. Owner was a hard working man, unfortunately passed away young. Community were saddened however the family honoured his legacy by continuing on. Glad they did.

Daily bread are amazing! They made a lovely banana cake (without icing, so we could ice it black for our daughters Wednesday Adam’s cake). Cake was absolutely delicious, the best banana cake in town! So good, I was back for my husbands cake a few days later. Well worth driving to even if you don’t live close. Highly recommended.

There are so many food options at this Bakery, but the chicken and cranberry panini is my favourite.The hot chips are pretty good too.It's always crazy busy, thankfully the staff are quick to serve customers so the wait time is short.

Creamy mushroom, bacon and cheese pie was full of not-quite-cooked potato pieces and not much of the actual mushroom, bacon and cheese. It was only $6.00 though.I also had a sausage roll and it was quite good.

Daily Bread is one of my favourite bakeries! So many items to choose from cakes and slices, pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches, rolls, paninis, bread, donuts, biscuits,chicken and chips... I could go one but you get the idea! Just watch the potato top pies - they do a mince one and a steak one. Both super yummy though!
