Fantastic place, warm homelywelcome. Had the steak and schnitzel was succulent wanted to lick the plate. Rooms very clean and lovely decor. Breakfast also exceptional. Thank you Lyn and hubby. Deborah and Jackie

Good location to view the Kauri museum facilities including tv and tea and coffee are all shared. We were there on our own so it was ok...we were unaware it was like this also in theoff season you need to find eating arrangements before you get there .bed was comfortable breakfast good.

Visited here from California. The owners give the place such a homely feeling. I had the salmon, and have to say, it was the best cooked salmon I have had anywhere. The rest of my family had the rack of lamb, and loved it just as much!

Amazing place and hospitality. Best sleep ever! The stars in the sky at night are incredible. Visiting the pond and walking around the premises is a must. Best breakfast in all of Northland. And dinner was out of this world too. Definitely coming back for another long weekend.Thanks Jackie and Daniel.

Had a wonderful community dinner with Jackie and Daniel last night. The food was wonderful. Can highly recommend and thank you Jackie and Daniel for helping us out even though our numbers dropped!!!

Fantastic place to stay. Very friendly staff. Had an excellent steak dinner with owner as she was do restoration work. Wish I’d taken photos.

Went to lunch with my olderly mum the other day , And what a lovely place & the people running it charming & couldn't do enough for us . Only problem they aloud people smoking in the eating area on the terrace !!! When I asked them politely could they put it out the ladies said go sit some were else !!!!!!!!! REALLY .So mum & I sat around the corner ! SO NOT RIGHT .

What an amazing overnight stay! The rooms have beautiful views over the property's valley. Absolute quietness to rest and relax. Comfortable, spacious, welcoming and conveniently located by the Gumdiggers cafe and Kauri museum. Jacquie and Daniel have really given this B&B character with their attention to detail and their personality.
