Meghan Maloney Photography

Had a fabulous weekend with Meghan in the Waikato - she is super friendly and a great tutor. We went to lots of different places for sunrise, sunset and astro and waterfalls. Only 3 of us on the workshop so was very relaxed and easy to ask questions and get help. I learn't a lot and came away with some great photos!

Had a great couple of days with Meghan on a workshop with 3 of us. Meghan had a lot of patience with our group and gave us valuable one on one tuition when required. We covered alot of new aspects for composition work, different settings and filters. Editing our photos afterwards was very beneficial. We also visited several locations to try our new skills. A great tutor and I highly recommend Meghan.

I have just returned from a four day workshop with Meghan, and I'm still buzzing. Unfortunately the original workshop booked to photograph autumn colours in the Hawkes Bay had to be cancelled due to the cyclone that went through. However I was not disappointed with the relocation and later date to Rotorua at all. With Meghans guidance I was able to take my first every astro shot, spend time in the redwoods, visit locations I'd never been to, and discover lots of tips and information to help me improve my shots. Meghan is both patient and flexible in finding new locations in rapidly changing weather conditions. Highly recommend a workshop with her. Can't wait to do another!

I highly recommend Meghan's Workshops. Just completed a wonderful workshop in the Catlins - not an easy place to plan for, it was very well organised. She along with co-host Laurie Winter are a wealth of photographic knowledge and were focused on moving the participants up a level in their photographic journey. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and can't wait to go on another one. Meghan was great at planning the locations like this stunning sunrise at Brighton Beach

Meghan is an amazing photographer who is very passionate about her art. I attended a one-to-one two day landscape workshop course with her in June 2023. It was a totally amazing experience. She is an excellent teacher who imparts all the nuances and finer points of her craft that I was able to absorb well without feeling overwhelmed. The knowledge and insight I got from my time with her is something I could not have got from reading or watching instruction videos. A Meghan Maloney led course is a must for anyone interested in landscape photography. She will cater for people with all levels of abilities. She is an excellent communicator and an overall lovely person. Highly recommended!

My friends & I have just had a couple of fantastic days out with Meghan. We have certainly come away with new found knowledge & confidence in our photography skills.Meghan, as seen by her own fantastic photos ( not surprising she is a Sony advocate/ambassador) is a brilliant tutor with a wealth of knowledge & skill. Endlessly patient too, especially with post processing.Meghan has boundless energy & enthusiasm & a real passion for photography which she is only too happy to share. We will be back for more! I recently, along with a friend, had the pleasure of attending a two day workshop with Meghan. I would have to say that this is the best two days I have ever spent learning about photography! In addition to her photography skills, Meghan is an engaging and fabulous lady. Her organisation of our workshop was excellent. Can't wait to spend time with her again.

Just completed an 8 day workshop with Meghan and it was an experience of a lifetime. Meghan's knowledge of the area ensured that we always had something to shoot , even on the bad weather days. Having just come off an 8 day workshop with Meghan, I can absolutely recommend the experience to anyone interested in photography. The group of 5 participants had a wide range of photographic experience and skills, but the needs of each were catered to by Meghan's care and attention to detail. The itinerary was adapted where and when necessary to ensure that we had the very best opportunities to make great images. A most enjoyable experience.
